(Clearwisdom.net) On April 23, 2006, a grand parade took place on Kaida Glen Boulevard in front of President's Hall to support the 10 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Among the groups was a Minghui School waist drum team composed of students from Taoyuan, Chungli, Neili, Taipei Sanchong and Taipei North Minghui Schools.

Children have a will to end the persecution and stop the tyranny

The members of the waist drum team were as young as kindergarten kids and as old as high school students. They have been practicing playing the waist drums half a day every week for a long time. Their expressions were serious because they knew they were using their drum beats to call for conscience and justice.

According to the global Quit the CCP Service Center, 1 million Chinese had withdrawn from the CCP as of last April. A year later, there were nearly 10 million people who had withdrawn from the CCP. The number increased tenfold in one year. The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and withdrawals from the CCP are peacefully but powerfully disintegrating the Communist Party tyranny. All the Minghui School students and teachers support the withdrawal endeavors.

In Taiwan, people know that Falun Gong is pure. Practitioners do the exercises in the parks in the morning. Falun Gong teaches people to be honest and cultivate their xinxing. It doesn't charge any fees or accept donations. During seven years of persecution in China, Falun Gong practitioners have never retaliated; they simply clarified the truth to the government and the world about the persecution in China. Their rational and peaceful appeals have won the support of the public.

On this day, the parade extended about 6.5 km. Because the number of participants was so large, when the leading vehicles reached the mid-point, many people were still waiting to depart from Kaida Glen Blvd. The parade procession was 3 to 4 km long. And because the Minghui School waist drum team was one of the groups at the end of the parade, the students waited longer than expected.

These students started to practice early in the morning. Their lunch was also very simple. They played waist drum for about 5 to 6 hours during the day. The youngest player was only six years old. They didn't have time to eat, drink or use the restroom, but they didn't complain and no one put down their drumsticks. All their endeavors were for only one purpose: to support the "End the Persecution" campaign.
