(Clearwisdom.net) May 22nd is Victoria Day. Every year, the city of Victoria holds a grand parade to celebrate the holiday. Together with 138 other groups, Falun Gong practitioners from Victoria and Vancouver participated in this 108^th annual parade, which was attended by some 40,000 locals and a TV program covering it was broadcast live nationwide.

At 9 a.m., the parade started from Mayfair Mall. Via Douglas Street, the parade finished at the city council at around 12:30 p.m. The practitioners' procession consisted of a waist drum troupe, a decorated float and a Falun Gong exercise demonstration team. The procession was led by a giant "Falun Dafa is Good" banner. Even though it was raining, about 40,000 local residents watched the parade in person.
