Jiang Fengyi from Laixi City, Shandong Province Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr Jiang Fengyi is a Dafa practitioner from Qiji Village, Yuanshang County, Laixi City, Shangdong Province. He is thirty-nine years old. In 2005 he got a job in Chengyang District, Qingdao City. He went to distribute truth clarification materials on the evening on April 27 and was arrested by the police. He was illegally sentenced to four years in prison after six months detention.

On April 29, 2005, Jiang Xun, Party Secretary of Qiji Village, Yuanshang County, Laixi City, led policemen from the Chengyang Police Substation in Qingdao City as they broke into Jiang Fengyi's home and raided the house. They confiscated Dafa books and Teacher's lecture tapes. His cousin, Jiang Fengxi, pressed a fingerprint on the detention notice of Jiang Fengyi for him. In his home, Jiang Xun actively cooperated with the policemen searching for Dafa books and cursed Jiang Fengyi's mother (but the eighty year-old mother didn't cooperate with them). Jiang Fengyi was at that time detained in the Chengyang Custodial Station.

During his detention, Jiang Fengyi's mother and sisters, who are Dafa practitioners as well, went to the Chengyang Police Substation and demanded his release. The doorman didn't let them in. They then went to the Chengyang Custodial Station. The policemen there didn't allow them to see him. They went back again to the Chengyang Police Substation and asked to see the director. They clarified the truth to the director and demanded that Jiang Fengyi be released unconditionally. The director didn't want to listen to the truth and threatened them, and forced them to leave. They went to the Chengyang Police Substation twice, but the police there didn't release Jiang Fengyi. They didn't even let his family see him.

According to witnesses, Jiang Fengyi suffered inhuman persecution in the Chengyang Custodial Station. They tried to make him give up practicing "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and do hard labor. But he didn't cooperate with them. The policeman then instigated the cell leader to brutally beat him. They also made him wear handcuffs and foot shackles around the clock. Sometimes they lifted him up and hung him.

Jiang Fengyi was persecuted for nearly six months in the Chengyang Custodial Station. Then he was sentenced to four years in prison by the People's Court in Chengyang District, Qingdao City. On October 13, 2005, he was sent to the Jinan Prison. There he was severely persecuted.

Here we solemnly warn the perpetrators in the Jinan Prison, in the Chengyang Public Security Bureau, in the Chengyang Custodial Bureau, in the People's Court in Chengyang District, and all those perpetrators who persecute Dafa and Dafa practitioners to stop the persecution immediately, and release Jiang Fengyi and all other Dafa practitioners who are illegally detained. It is the universal law that good will be rewarded while evil will be punished. Those who continue taking part in the persecution will definitely be punished by Heaven.
