(Clearwisdom.net) On April 29, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Montreal, Canada held a rally in Chinatown's Zhongshan Park to commemorate the seventh anniversary of Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful appeal on April 25, 1999, expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution against Falun Gong, and reenact the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They called upon people with conscience and justice from all walks of life to join the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) to conduct a complete investigation into the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in all forced labor camps and prisons throughout China.

Rally in Montreal to commemorate the seventh anniversary of "April 25," calling for a thorough investigation into the persecution of Falun Gong

Ms. Sun, the organizer of the rally said, "On April 25, 1999, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners went to State Department Appeals Office to clarify the true situation of Falun Gong, because practitioners in Tianjin were beaten and some were arrested. Their peaceful, rational and well-ordered demeanor was practicing the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. However, the CCP insisted on persecuting this group of people who cultivate themselves according to this principle. During the past seven years, the CCP has constantly used the media to spread lies and frame Falun Gong worldwide, and at the same time covertly carried out a brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners."

Spokesman for the rally, Mr. Zhu, said, "In the beginning, Falun Gong practitioners had thought the CCP regime did not know the true situation of Falun Gong. Being responsible to the country, the people and the Party, we used our own experiences and true feeling to clarify the truth to the leaders of the country. But, later we realized that the CCP had known Falun Gong very well, and had long dispatched secret agents to look into Falun Gong. Jiang's jealousy and the CCP's evil nature determined that they insisted on persecuting Falun Gong. When finding no reason to do so, they fabricated lies, created false images to frame Falun Gong, deceive the world's people, incite people's hatred towards Falun Gong, and lead people to commit crimes against Falun Gong. Therefore, Falun Gong practitioners started a seven-year-long peaceful and rational truth clarification about Falun Gong to people from all social strata, calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong."

Mr. Zhu said, "Different from previous years, on April 25 this year, Falun Gong practitioners want to take the initiative to stop the persecution, and directly go to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong, gather all righteous strength to thoroughly clear out the root of the crime."

In Face of Constantly Changing Lies, Remain Unchangeable in Truth Clarification

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Hu, who just finished doing the exercises said, "Today the weather is fine, I feel so pleased to be able to freely practice here. Our sole appeal in the past seven years is to stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, and strive for the right to practice freely. What we have been doing is telling people what Falun Gong is, the persecution situation of Falun Gong, and what was recently revealed about the CCP's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners before cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence. We have been unremittingly telling the truth to people, the only purpose is to let everyone know that Falun Gong teaches people to cultivate according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Falun Gong is good. The seven-year long persecution is villainous, wrong and must be stopped immediately."

Ms. Sun, one of the organizers said, "The purpose for the CCP to concoct lies is to deceive people worldwide, find excuses for its persecution, and lead people to get involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. We constantly expose the CCP's crimes, we want to let people know the true situation, and stay away the evil."

Kind People Testify to the CCP's Crimes of Harvesting Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners

At the rally site, a Chinese woman stood for a long time in front of the mock demonstration of the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and display boards exposing the persecution. She told the reporter, "What they (Falun Gong practitioners) said is definitely true. I know, I lived near Sujiatun, some of my friends in police system and hospitals know this is true, too cruel, I'm very sad. They (her friends) even more sad, they were in great agony, because some of them witnessed (the persecution.) these (persecution facts exposed by Falun Gong practitioners) are less than one in a thousand of the facts."

She said, "I'm not a Falun Gong practitioner, but I feel there is no way to survive under the CCP's rule, so I came to Canada. I feel some big thing will happen in China." She said that she will return to China when there is freedom in China.

Taking the Initiative to Investigate the CCP's Crimes and Stop the Persecution

The Falun Dafa Association and Minghui/ Clearwisdom website initiated on April 4, 2006, the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG), and issued a notice about the scope of investigation and evidence collection by the CIPFG.

Regarding this, Mr. Zhu said that Falun Gong practitioners will take the initiative to directly investigate the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, and gather all righteous strength to thoroughly clear out the root of the evil.

It was reported that representatives of the CIPFG Linda Xu, reporter from Sound of Hope in Australia and Ms. Zhou Lei, editor of the German Epoch Times European Branch, both had their visa applications rejected. Reporters Zhang Fen and Xu Zhen from San Francisco Bay Area NTDTV and members of the CIPFG from North America, Australia and Europe formally requested visas from the CCP for the third time on April 25 to go to China for investigation.

Currently the CIPFG members include not only Falun Gong practitioners, but also people from all groups, including media and individuals who show concerns over the persecution of Falun Gong. They include renowned human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, Professor Jiao Guobiao and lawyer Yang Zaixin.

Organizer of the rally Ms. Sun said, "Seven-year tireless truth clarification, seven-year expectations, this is the historical choice. We hope more righteous people can join the CIPFG to investigate into the persecution facts and together end the inhuman persecution."
