Czech Republic: Secondary School Teacher Invites Practitioners to Speak to Civics Class (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Wednesday, April 19th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners visited a secondary school in Beroun for the second time, where they talked to a class of third year students about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime.

At the end of 2005, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Beroun, to alert passers-by to the cruel persecution which practitioners in China have had to face for seven years. One of the passers-by was a teacher. She said that she already knew about the persecution and asked us if we could visit her class to speak about the situation in China. Of course we promised to come.

First we spoke about what Falun Gong is and we explained why the communist regime is persecuting it. Then, the future college students watched our documentary film "Appeal to China, Appeal to the World". Students were very interested in the issue of human rights, so without hesitation we started to talk about Chinese concentration camps, where internal organs are taken from living Falun Gong practitioners. At the end we had a little time to demonstrate a few of the Falun Gong exercises.

From the expressions on students' faces we could see their displeasure regarding the inconceivable suffering people in China have to forbear, simply because they don't want to give up their belief in the goodness of Falun Gong. Quite often we could hear, "It's just terrible" In spite of that, the atmosphere was relaxed and all the students were listening carefully and they even reacted in a lively manner. They wanted to know more about the practice of Falun Gong. They were asking about its origin and history, principles and teaching. They all signed the petition, which called for an independent investigation into the crimes of stealing internal organs from practitioners in China.

We noticed that the notice board in the school's corridor evoked the dreadful history of the Nazi concentration camp in Terezin, which has brought to mankind both hindsight and warning. We all hope that this hindsight from this bloody history is sufficient for people to take this information about the concentration camps in China seriously and to condemn it.

Some of the secret concentration camps were established near hospitals and according to witnesses, internal organs are taken from the practitioners of Falun Gong even in the state of awareness, using just a little bit of anesthetic. Doctors at some of these hospitals even confirmed that the organs they can offer for transplantation are from Falun Gong practitioners and they are promising that recently they are able to find the required organ within few days. In the west it is usual that people have to wait for these organs several years or even longer.
