Indonesia: Falun Gong Practitioners Attacked during Peaceful Protest in Jakarta's Chinatown (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) At 10:30 a.m. on the morning of April 28, 2006, two Falun Gong practitioners in Indonesia were beaten in front of a public security agency at Pancoran, the largest Chinatown in Jakarta, Indonesia. They were holding a peaceful protest, distributing truth clarification materials about the CCP's organ harvesting. One of them received several blows on his head with a long stick, causing severe bleeding. This is the latest instance in which the Chinese Communist regime has spread its hatred with a deliberate attack on Falun Gong practitioners.

The injured practitioner and the other practitioner said that they wanted to tell the public of the CCP's brutality in forcefully extracting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and selling them in the transplant trade, and this crime, which is completely against humanity, is still going on. They hoped the public would learn the truth and together end the CCP's atrocities. Moreover, they had received a permit for their activities.

The two practitioners explained that even before they put up the banner and display boards to expose the persecution, this assailant had been waiting there for a long time. He continuously cursed at them and behaved threateningly. The security agents wanted them to go to the nearby security agency office for interrogation.

The injured practitioner said, "I stood aside and listened to the practitioner as he explained our activity to the security agents. That perpetrator asked me a question and I responded. To my surprise, he immediately swung the long wooden stick he was holding and hit my head with it. I did not know him and I do not know why he hit me. " The injured practitioner's head spattered a lot of blood immediately after being hit. The blood spattered on the other practitioner's T shirt and his own coat.

The security agents told the practitioners that they have a list of local Chinese who cosigned a petition against Falun Gong holding any activity in Pancoran. However they did not state the reason.

Falun Dafa has spread to nearly 80 countries around the whole world, and only the CCP persecutes Falun Gong and behaves like hoodlums, export lies and spreads hatred, and instigates the Chinese Embassy to manipulate the overseas Chinese to persecute Falun Gong.

The security agents also told practitioners that they had no intention of stopping Falun Gong's activities, because they know Falun Gong is good, but the Chinese Embassy gave them the list and coerced them to forbid Falun Gong practitioners from holding activities.

In the end, the two Falun Gong practitioners pointed out that opposing Falun Gong's peaceful activities to resist violence and reveal the truth is the same as submitting to the CCP's aims, and that Indonesia is a democratic and free country ruled by law. Expressing different opinions and views are protected by Indonesia's national constitution. That is the right of every citizen. Whoever infringes on this right is deliberately violating the law and will be punished by law. Chinese Indonesian citizens should act in accordance with their conscience, and not harm others or themselves under the control of the CCP.
