Four Dafa Practitioners from Huainan City, Anhui Province, Receive Unjust Prison Terms

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Chen Xiuan, from Huainan City, Anhui Province, went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa in October 1999. The police returned him to his home jurisdiction and sentenced him to a year in prison. After his release in October 2000, Chen Xiuan persisted in his cultivation in Dafa, so plainclothes officers followed him and kept him under surveillance. The police arrested Mr. Chen again and sentenced him to another two years in prison at the Baihu Farm in Anhui Province. They detained him for an additional month after his sentence term expired. After his release in March 2003, plainclothes officers again followed Mr. Chen and kept him under surveillance. On April 25, 2005, the police arrested him a third time and took his house key. They used the key to enter his home, and ransacked it. However they failed to find any incriminating "evidence." The police detained Chen Xiuan in the Huainan City Traffic Police Station, and later they secretly sentenced him to an additional thirteen years in prison.

On April 26, 2005, police arrested practitioner Huang Bangjun, 64, and his wife, 63, and sentenced them to three-year and two-year prison terms, respectively. The police also ransacked their home.

The police sentenced practitioner Wang Ziqiang to thirteen years in prison after arresting him in July 2005. At that time, his mother was ill. After her son’s arrest, Mr. Wang's became extremely worried and soon passed away as a result.
