By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I lost my job due to the persecution. After I kept finding my attachments and getting rid of them, I found another job, which seemed to be very good. So far I have been at the new job for three months. However, in the past three months I have been kept so busy that I have had to work extra hours until eleven o'clock in the evening every day. Although I have been doing the three things, I often feel that the time is limited and my sending forth righteous thoughts is inefficient. Until some time ago I was not really able to get out of the busy-ness of work. I would like to share my experience. Hopefully it would be helpful to or inspire fellow practitioners who find themselves in a similar situation of being tied up by ordinary people's work.

Before when I was sending forth righteous thoughts to clean out whatever was forcing me to work extra hours, I hoped that my workload would decrease. However, I was working extra hours when I sent forth righteous thoughts. As a result, my workload increased instead of decreasing as I had hoped. I realized later that I had actually collaborated with the old forces while I tried to deny it in my mind. How could this work?

Besides, I often had this thought when I was working extra hours: "I will only work one extra hour." But it turned out that I had to work two hours at the end, then three hours, and even more later. Now I realize that I should not do even a little bit of what the old forces want me to. If I do a little, it will expand. I should be fully in charge of my own business. If I want it, that's my choice; if I don't, that's my choice, too. The old forces are unable to disturb me.

On the other hand, I usually considered that my profession is always busy and that almost all the companies that I have worked for were like this. The profession is seasonal and can be terribly busy at certain times. Moreover, all company staff have been working overtime. These reasons seem to be convincing enough.

Yet I suddenly realized that all the reasons are of the human side. Was I using human notions to measure the things in cultivation by finding them reasonable? Practitioners' paths can only be arranged by Teacher and should not be restricted by human notions. When I viewed the problem from the Fa, everything changed.

Upon understanding this, I felt relieved:

"After passing the shady willow trees, there will be bright flowers and another village ahead." (Zhuan Falun)

I truly feel that I am taking the initiative and using my wisdom that was given by the Fa to solve the problems that are happening rather than passively enduring the problems or tribulations. Now I can finish my work very quickly.

I have been memorizing Zhuan Falun. Currently I am memorizing Lecture Four. My progress is slow, but the impact is great. Hopefully those fellow practitioners who have not started memorizing the Fa and those in fear of difficulties can truly break through these obstacles and eliminate whatever is blocking them from memorizing the Fa. When you take this step, you will realize the meaning of memorizing the Fa and will try to memorize the Fa voluntarily and happily.

I have enlightened a great deal lately. Only when my xinxing is improves will the Fa appear in front of me.
