(Clearwisdom.net) Whenever fellow practitioners talk about how much hardship Master has endured for us, tears would stream down my cheeks. I obtained Dafa ten years ago, and I have deeply felt Master's enormous compassion. On the surface, we have not born much hardship, because we have Master's protection. However, what Master has endured for us is beyond our imagination. This is my experience after going though an illness tribulation.

One morning in April 1999, I went to work. I felt a sudden sharp pain near my right kidney, and the pain intensified quickly. I felt dizzy and could not sit still. My supervisor noticed my sallow complexion and sent me home to rest. When I lay down, the pain worsened. I felt the convulsion of the right kidney, and I curled up in a ball, turning back and forth. I could not stop my legs from quivering, and I moaned in pain. I worried that I was going to pass out. One hour later, the pain eased some, but it soon resurged more intensely. My wife came home at noon. She was very worried and wanted to send me to the hospital. I refused and told her, "Don't worry, I am a practitioner, and I will be fine." The pain persisted until 5 o'clock that afternoon. I got up, moved around, and felt fine. I went back to work the next day and was delighted that I passed this test. When I lay down at 10 p.m. the following night, the excruciating and incessant pain returned. I felt shortness of breath, and I turned and tossed on the floor. My wife was very scared and wanted to call for an ambulance. I stopped her. I lowered my voice to calm her. The sharp pain made me restless and irritable. I vomited frequently due to nausea. I reached my physical limit. I was drenched in cold sweat and felt numbness all over the body. I could not bear the pain any more. I crawled in front of Master's picture and implored, "Master! I cannot bear this pain any more, please help me overcome this tribulation. Please, Master!" Master's picture appeared very serious, and the pain persisted. My thought karma began to interfere. I thought I had to bear this pain; I would not let the thought karma take over. This pain was my tribulation, so let me endure it and repay the karmic debt. I closed my eyes and bore the pain with all my strength. I did not know how long it lasted. It was like a dream. I woke up at dawn and I felt better. My wife stayed up all night watching me.

I was exhausted after fighting the pain, so I slept till three in the afternoon. The pain disappeared, but I felt very uncomfortable around the lower abdomen. Urination was frequent and painful and contained blood. The experience was like having a kidney stone and urinary tract infection. I was not scared, however, because I knew Master would help cleanse my body. Several hours later, I felt the cleansing energy. Something over my abdomen slowly pulled downward and exited my body. My pain was completely gone thereafter. I knew Master cleansed my body, so I pressed my hands together in the Heshi position and cried.

Master taught us in "Fa-rectification Period Dafa Disciples",

After this tribulation, I truly understood the weight of this article. If it were not for our compassionate Master, who endured all of our karma over the ages, we could not cultivate. The little karma in the form of illness almost destroyed me. If we committed irredeemable sins in the past, we need to repay the debt forever. Sometimes in cultivation, we may experience pain or illness. Sometimes we can easily pass tribulations and feel good. Behind this good there is unimaginable endurance on Master's part.

I stumbled on my cultivation path. I did certain things that I should not have done as a Dafa practitioner. I regret them deeply, yet Master did not desert me. Master has given me more chances to improve myself. During the two years of illegal imprisonment in a labor camp, I faced many tribulations. I strengthened my righteous thoughts by recalling my illness tribulation and how much Master had done for me. These tribulations were nothing, and I refused to submit to the evil. I firmly believe in Master and Dafa. The evil could not shake my belief, no matter what. This firm righteous thought helped me break out of the evil den and rejoin Fa-rectification.

At this point, I want to express my hope that those practitioners who have not yet stepped forward will wake up and truly cultivate. Do not let the fog of the ordinary world block us. It is a once-in-an-eternity opportunity for us to obtain the Fa and practice cultivation. Let us not disappoint Master's mighty compassion. Master scooped us up from hell, cleansed our bodies, gave us the Falun, and endured all of our karma. It is an honor to participate in Fa rectification and to become a Dafa practitioner in the Fa rectification period. Now we are approaching the final stage. Master said that there are still chances before Fa-rectification finishes. Master is still waiting for those practitioners who have not stepped forward. Fellow practitioners are concerned about you. Let go of the attachment to fear, take the firm first step, and catch up with Fa rectification.
