By a practitioner from Hunan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a practitioner from Hunan Province. I neglected the importance of studying the Fa and cultivating my heart, and clarifying the truth became merely a formality. As a result, I was seized in March 2005 while distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. I was illegally sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and was detained in Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp in Changsha City, Hunan Province.

At the labor camp, both of my feet were severely injured due to torture. Consequently, I was unable to walk. Because I did not study the Fa in depth, I wrote the three statements against my will under the pressure. I felt great sorrow and lived every day dishonorably and inattentively. At this time, my celestial eye saw that my body in another dimension was covered by a black net and there were evil demons and ghosts surrounding it. The police thought my "transformation" was fake, so they still beat and tortured me, causing me to suffer mentally and physically everyday.

For two months, my life was worse than death, so I was determined to break through these hardships. I had to gradually strengthen my righteous thoughts. I started to tell other practitioners who were detained with me about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and told them to add the thought of eliminating the evil CCP spirit while sending forth righteous thoughts. I also used every opportunity I could get to clarify that the statements I had written guaranteeing not to practice and the speeches I had made under great pressure were all invalid. The prison guards were outraged, so they took me to the intensive surveillance room once again.

In the intensive surveillance room, I never cooperated with any of the regulations or orders from the prison guards. Instead, I recited Zhuan Falun and Essentials for Further Advancement every day. As my righteous thoughts grew stronger and my attachment to fear gradually vanished, the torture and the persecution became less severe. Furthermore, my environment was more relaxed than those who were so-called "transformed."

My situation stayed like this for four more months. One day, I suddenly had a very strong thought: "I must get out. This is not my place to stay, and I have to get out to save sentient beings." After this thought emerged, my celestial eye saw that in the other dimension, a ray of golden light destroyed the black net, and all the evil demons and rotten ghosts vanished.

Afterwards, I asked again and again to see the group leader in the prison, and once I received permission, I was led to his office. The group leader asked, "Why are you asking to see me?" I told him, "First of all, all the guarantee statement I wrote and the speeches I made were done against my will and are invalid. Secondly, I practice the most righteous Fa, so I am determined to continue my cultivation. Lastly, my body is in a bad condition, so I strongly ask for my release. The group leader said, "I will send what you wrote to the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. Aren't you scared?" I told him, "I was forced to write those things as a result of your beating and torturous persecution, and you forced me to copy the format of the statements. I do not acknowledge any of it."

After I returned to the intensive surveillance room, I totally relaxed. A great field of energy surrounded me, and I knew that the evil would soon disintegrate under my strong righteous thoughts and action and that the jail door would soon open. That night I had a dream that my husband came to bring me home.

The next day, the labor camp informed me of a private meeting in the afternoon. It really was my husband who had come to take me home. Under Teacher's benevolent protection and using my righteous thoughts, I was able to walk out of this notorious labor camp 10 months early.

After I was released, I discovered that practitioners outside the labor camp knew I had denied the three guarantee statements and that I was very righteous. They all supported me with their righteous thoughts, strengthening my righteous thoughts so that I could get out. I realized that Dafa practitioners are one body. My release was interconnected with practitioners' support with righteous thoughts.

I know I did not do very well, but I still wanted to write out my experience of taking the wrong path so that other practitioners can take warning from it. I will get up after my fall and deny the old forces' arrangements with my righteous thoughts. This is my sharing on my experience of walking out of the evil's dark den. Please kindly point out my shortcomings.
