III. Forming One Diamond-hard Indestructible Body

When a young practitioner in our city died due to being persecuted, some people couldn't accept it. She had been so diligent, why did she die? First, she had cultivation problems that she didn't solve and which resulted in her premature demise. Even though she had some attachments that she couldn't let go, didn't we, as her fellow practitioners, add to her persecution? Do you know how much pain she went through and how much Fa-validating work she had been burdened with? Only one week before she died, she dragged her extremely weak body out to distribute fliers, and she was still thinking about her fellow practitioners, who weren't doing their share, and thinking about saving sentient beings. Yet, some of our fellow practitioners didn't offer to share the heavy load. Some were in good economic situations, but didn't donate a penny towards purchasing materials. It didn't occur to them that some of their fellow practitioners spend almost all that they have in order to make sure that the materials production sites continue to function.

Some fellow practitioners have lots of free time but don't do the three things. Instead, they push all the work, such as obtaining materials, onto other practitioners who are experiencing difficulties in both time and environment. They take from others and ask others to do the work without feeling the slightest bit of guilt. Some even dare not go to buy the materials and need others to bring materials to them. There are also some people who only take Teacher's new articles but not truth clarifying materials. Especially after the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published, they were very scared.

When some people heard that fellow practitioners had been taken away, they first thought about themselves and were concerned that another "sensitive day" was coming. They were so frightened that they either just stayed at home or went to other places so that they could escape the dangerous situation. Some even buried their books and thus had no books to read. They waited for a few months before retrieving their books. By then, the books had already started to decay and had a bad odor. Is that the manifestation of respecting Master and Fa? It's not wrong to protect Dafa books, but we should not do it in this way!

There are also some who only watch others doing the work, because they are used to the idea of fighting and are afraid that their own interests might be damaged. They think that they have no powers and cannot defeat this big evil political power. They try to find different excuses for themselves. There are some people who still have not woken up. Cultivation is "like waves sifting the sand." If these people cannot wake up, nothing can help them. However, they have studied the Fa, so we need to help them see things clearly as soon as we can.

Another thing is the issue of sending righteous thoughts at set times every day in our county. How many of us can persist in sending righteous thoughts? How many of us send righteous thoughts at the set times? Sending righteous thoughts can be done anywhere, but there are still some who are not willing to do it. Some cannot do well in sending righteous thoughts with the whole world simultaneously four times every day. They either just lie in bed or do not get up to send righteous thoughts, or sit there having numerous unclear thoughts in their minds. Their righteous thoughts do not have a good effect. Even now, there are some who do not know how to send righteous thoughts properly. They haven't read Teacher's article on the correct way to send righteous thoughts. How can they do this sacred thing well?

Because we haven't formed one diamond-hard indestructible body, there are separations among fellow practitioners, and the evil can succeed in doing bad things to Dafa practitioners. This causes great losses.

Some of us think that the number of practitioners who can come forward is small, and that we don't have enough people or enough strength. I don't see it this way. As long as we are cultivators, everyone's abilities and powers are becoming stronger and stronger. We shouldn't be interfered with by the state of other people or let them prevent us from having righteous thoughts. In fact, if our righteous thoughts are strong enough, a single Dafa disciple will have enormous power and can disintegrate numerous evils. At the same time, we have Teacher looking after us. Righteous divine beings are helping too. Teacher said,

We should have very strong righteous thoughts, do a good job in helping people to quit the three Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations, clarify the truth, cooperate well with each other, and form a diamond-hard and indestructible body as a whole.

If we can accomplish that, the collective power will be immense. In this way, the evil will have no excuse to interfere, the overall situation will be improved, and we can keep up with the Fa-rectification.

IV. Fighting the Persecution Doesn't Mean Fighting with Everyday People

We are against the persecution of Falun Gong, but not because we want to fight with the evil political power or because we want to gain political power in the human world. Cultivators do not have any pursuits in the human world. We are against the persecution and we want to reduce the pressure on our fellow practitioners. At the core, we want to save sentient beings.

Some fellow practitioners do not have a clear understanding of the main purpose of clarifying the truth and opposing the persecution. When they clarify the truth, they sound bitter and end up arguing with people. They are not kind enough, nor do they use the tone a practitioner should use. Their hearts are not big enough. In this case how can an everyday person accept us? If we do not pay attention to these things, we won't have a good response when we clarify the truth. Not only will such an incorrect approach not save people, we may even push them further down and give everyday people a very bad impression. The first time I was put into a jail cell, some of my cellmates didn't sleep the whole night when they learned that I was a Falun Gong practitioner. There are evil forces fabricating rumors, and at the same time, we have contributed to the problem by not clarifying the truth very well.

Of course this is not to say that we should passively endure the persecution. Dafa is both benevolent and dignified. Why do the evil people always persecute kind Dafa practitioners? Of course there are many reasons, but I think one of the main reasons is that some practitioners always consider this evil persecution to be a persecution of human beings by human beings. And they didn't send forth righteous thoughts in time, nor did they use their righteous thoughts to curb the evil people. Thus, the evil people are not frightened. All of these things have in a sense helped the evil to grow stronger. If they knew the terrible things that will happen to them for participating in the persecution and creating tribulations, they wouldn't dare to do anything to cultivators no matter how much they care about their personal interests. They would not behave like they don't believe the consequences.

Some fellow practitioners did not view the evil CCP's concentration camps from the perspective of the Fa. Some don't believe it's true, some are afraid. Still others dare not tell everyday people about it, etc. In fact it's no coincidence that the CCP's secret concentration camp was exposed to the public. It's the result of large amounts of evil being eliminated. Of course, we don't acknowledge the arrangements made by the evil, but the evil happened anyway. What we should do is expose the evil in an open and righteous way. On the one hand, we can negate the persecution of Dafa practitioners by the evil forces, and on the other hand, we can save more sentient beings. The evil, which has been hidden for so many years, is now exposed by everyday people having a sense of justice. This event itself is evidence that the evil is now lacking the ability to do whatever it wants. It is the manifestation of evil that will not survive in the end. What should we be afraid of? Actually, it is the evil, that has done all the bad things, that should be afraid! When Fa-rectification reaches the final stage, all the terrible things that the evil has done will surely be exposed so that more and more people can clearly see its evil nature, more sentient beings can be saved, and bad things will be turned into good things. In fact, the more evil the evil is, the more Dafa practitioners will achieve, and the more everyday people can be saved.

V. Issue of Using the Law Properly - to Protect Ourselves

We should use the law to protect ourselves. I think we should be familiar with the following two aspects of the law:

China's constitution clearly states that a citizen has the rights of freedom of belief and freedom of speech. A citizen enjoys the right of non-infringement of his personal rights, etc. Currently the courts make illegal judgments mainly based on article No. 300 of Criminal Law and the so-called judicature. But article 300 has nothing to do with Falun Gong. The judicature explanation of the High Court is just an administrative document, it is not legally binding. The high courts do not have legislative powers. Therefore, such judgments are illegal.

It's necessary to know some administrative procedures. Sentencing someone to a forced labor camp is the duty of the legal arm of the Department of Police. There is no legal procedure by the Procuratorate or court. When someone is to be sentenced to prison, the police first submit the order to the Procuratorate, which will then go to the court for a ruling. The accused person can appeal if he does not accept the ruling. The most important documents used for procuratorate appeals are the defendant's oral confession, testimony of witnesses, or other evidence related to the case. The defendant's oral confession is especially important. If there is no oral confession, witness testimony, or material evidence, the procuratorate cannot go to the court to sentence the defendant. If police torture the defendant to get a confession, the defendant can retract the confession in the procuratorate.

When police cannot find any evidence, they will try to persuade as well as threaten. They will also use methods like blackmail and deceit. They will even fabricate evidence. We must not be fooled. Even when they present the so-called evidence, we cannot accept it at all. Our fellow practitioners in Dazu, especially those arrested for the first time, can be easily fooled by the fake kindness of the evil. As practitioners, we should totally negate the arrangements made by the evil.

The preceding are my thoughts on some of the problems that Dafa practitioners in Dazu have experienced during cultivation, and are my opinions on how to solve the problems. I hope this article can serve as introductory remarks and that others will offer their valuable ideas. It's not to disparage the overall state of our area.

In fact, in our area we have many very good practitioners who use many methods to clarify the truth to more and more people and save sentient beings. Even everyday people admire the practitioner's righteous thoughts and deeds and think that Dafa practitioners are great. What I just said is hard, but I really hope it can help us improve in doing the "three things" in our area.
