1. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Four Falun Gong Practitioners including Ma Wenlin Arrested

During the afternoon of June 11, 2006, officers drove four police cars and arrested practitioners Mr. Ma Wenlin, Ms. Yang Weixia, Ms. Zhang Baorong and Ms. Che Lianfang from Weijin Town, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province. Police confiscated some Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. They put the four practitioners into the Weijin Town Police Department and then transferred them at night into Liaoyuan City's Xiangyang Detention Center. No family visit has been permitted so far.

2. [Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Yu Shufeng Has Been Held Three Months

On March 25, 2006, 610 Office personnel arrested 68-year-old practitioner Ms. Yu Shufeng from Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province and put him into the city's detention center. Almost three months have passed, but no family visit has been permitted.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Zhang Xiuling Being Held at the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp with an Extended Term

In July 2004, practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiuling was put into the No.4 Division of the Changchun City's Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. She ought to have been released on April 17, 2006, but her forced labor term was extended because she refused to work in the camp.

She has been tortured to the point of being extremely weak. Police officer Liu Zhiwei kicked one of her legs so hard that she could not walk normally. She suffered from a stomach ache and could not eat anything and has whole-body edema. Her life is in peril. However, instead of releasing her the police tortured her with daily force-feeding.

4. [Lingwu City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Practitioner Tuo Meiling Sent to a Mental Hospital for Persecution

Practitioner Ms. Tuo Meiling from Lingwu City, Ningxia Autonomous Region has been held at the Ningxia AR Women's Prison for three and a half years and was finally released on May 16, 2006.

During the morning of June 9, 2006, Tuo Meiling's husband and her father too her to Ningxia AR Ning'an Mental Hospital. She was injected with a large amount of unknown medicine and is sleeping all the time.

Practitioner Li Jun from Weizigou Village, Yilan County was arrested on June 3, 2006. Li Jun had already been held for three years at the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp.

6. [Songzi City, Hubei Province] Police Arrest Practitioners Lei Min and Liu Yu'e

A person who doesn't know the truth of Falun Dafa reported practitioners Ms. Lei Min and Ms. Liu Yu'e from Babao Town to the police while they were distributing truth-clarifying materials on April 13, 2006. As a result, Zeng Qingmei and other policemen from Babao Town arrested the practitioners. They are now being held at Songzi City's Detention Center.

7. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Police Arrest Practitioner Ji Yongqing

Sixty-year-old practitioner Mr. Ji Yongqing was arrested. Police from Qingzhou City conducted the arrest on June 8, 2006 because a person had reported him to the police. His 80-year-old father is left at home without care.

The police ransacked the homes of all practitioners in the village.

8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Zou Reported to Police While Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials

Practitioner Mr. Zou from the Pingfang District distributed truth-clarifying materials during the afternoon of June 11, 2006. As it was raining, he stayed somewhere and waited for the rain to stop. A person reported him to the police, and two policemen later beat him.

Mr. Cao Xi, 64 years old, is a retired official from the Pingliang City Electric Bureau. Mr. Lu Baoliang, 43 years old, is a worker from No. 8 Affiliated Factory of the No. 45 Research Institute, Pingliang City's Electronics Information Industry Department. They were detained on October 22, 2004 and sentenced to seven years of imprisonment on November 24 the same year. The two practitioners are presently being held at the Dashaping Prison in Lanzhou City.

Mr. Wang Wenyan, 34 years old, is a cashier from the Retail Department, Panxuanbei Road Division, the Pingliang City Medical Company. He was sentenced to three years and six months on January 16, 2003 and is presently being held at the Dashaping Prison in Lanzhou City.

Mr. Liu Xukui, 53 years old, is a resident of Mafang Village, Sishilipu Town, Pingliang City. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor in April 2004. He is presently being held at the No. 16 Team, No. 6 Brigade, Ping'antai Forced Labor Camp located in the Honggu District, Lanzhou City.

10. [Yitong County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Liang Yanying Harassed

Personnel from the National Security Team of the Yitong County Police Department broke into practitioner Ms. Liang Yanying's home on June 8, 2006 and ransacked the place. Liang Yanying was so shocked that her heart disease recurred and she immediately passed out. The police confiscated her personal belongings. Ms. Liang is still absentminded and can not live a normal life.

12. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Persecuted

Two practitioners who live in a residential building in southern part of Laixi City were reported to the police on the afternoon of June 5, 2006. Personnel from Binhe Road Police Station got someone from Qingdao City to open the lock and confiscated some equipment and materials from the practitioner's residence.

13. [Tianjin] Practitioner Yao Shilan Arrested Again

When practitioner Ms. Yao Shilan was studying the Fa at home around 9:00 a.m. on March 18, 2006, Huang Shouqing, Changtun Village Public Security Team head, led three policemen and broke into Yao's home by climbing over the courtyard wall. They confiscated some Falun Dafa books and a tape recorder, handcuffed Yao and sent her to the Wuqing District Detention Center where Ms. Yao has been since going on a constant hunger strike for 43 days and was thus force-fed. She had a gastric hemorrhage several times. Her legs are paralyzed.

Practitioner Yao Shilan had been unlawfully detained several times and has been sentenced to two years of forced labor.

15. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Practitioner Cai Jinrong Persecuted

Practitioner Ms. Cai Jinrong, in her 50s, is from Guo Town, Baoji City. In early April 2006, she lost a purse when shopping at a super market. Some homemade Falun Gong amulets and some cash were in the purse. When she returned to the market to claim the purse she was arrested. At present, personnel of the Chencang Police Station have sentenced her to one year and three months of forced labor and sent her into Xi'an City Women's Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Datong was arrested in October 2005 and is presently being held at the Jintai Detention Center in Baoji City. His wife was arrested, too. Police fined the family several thousand yuan and confiscated a desktop and a laptop computer. She has been bailed out for trial.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaoping was arrested on June 5, 2006. She is being held at the Huarong County Detention Center.

17. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Dong Peilan and Her Husband Persecuted

At around 4:00 p.m. on June 1, 2006, policemen Liu Shuyuan and others from Tianshui City National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Dong Peilan from the Qinzhou District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province at the Deyuan Green Supermarket in Tianshui City. Currently, she is being held at the Luergou Detention Center. Her husband was also sentenced to imprisonment. Their three kids are left home with nobody taking care of them.

18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Yin Zhiming Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Yin Zhiming was arrested on June 4, 2006 when clarifying the truth in the Zhongshan District. He is currently being held at the Yaojia Detention Center.

19. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Qi Shuhua Arrested

At around 5:00 a.m. on May 19, 2006, personnel from the Yunshan Town Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Qi Shuhua from home and put her into the Pingdu Brainwashing Class.

Practitioner Mr. Zhu Zhonghe is still being held at the Shijiazhuang City North Suburb Prison.

21. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Guan Shurong Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Guan Shurong, 43 years old, is from Yangyun Township, Gaizhou City. At 8:30 p.m. on May 31, 2006, personnel from the Liguan Township Police Station arrested her when she was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. The persecutors transferred her into the Wafangdian City Police Department in Liaoning Province on June 1, 2006.

22. [Hebei Province] Persecution Incidents of Practitioners Unlawfully Held at the Baoding Prison

Currently, more than 70 practitioners are being held at the Baoding Prison. Practitioner Mr. Li Yansheng from Sizhilan Town, Mingjin County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province has been beaten so severely that he sustained liver, kidney and spleen ruptures.

Police beatings fractured a practitioner's leg, which later needed to be amputated at a hospital in Beijing.

23. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Sun Jia Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Sun Jia was illegally arrested during the night of June 7, 2006 when he was distributing truth-clarifying materials at the Xiangzhou District. He was detained at the Xiashan Detention Center. Falun Dafa practitioner Sun Jia is currently bedridden from the police beating.

24. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Zhao Guoqin Arrested and Taken to a Brainwashing Class for Persecution

Practitioner Ms. Zhao Guoqin is a dentist at the Gangzhou Outpatient Clinic affiliated with the Wuhan Steel Factory No.2 Hospital. She was forcibly put into the Hubei Province Brainwashing Class at about 8:00 a.m. on May 22, 2006.

25. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Li Bangsheng Arrested

Practitioner Mr. Li Bangsheng was arrested in March 2006. The Madao Railway Transportation Court in Xichang City is presently in the process of preparing a trial for him.

Personnel from the Xichang City National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Song Pingxiu on June 13, 2006 and put her into the Tuohuang Detention Center

Practitioner Ms. Liu Yongfen is from Zhuzhou City. She had been detained at the Changsha City Women's Prison for four years before she was put into the Zhuzhou City's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in 2005.

Her younger daughter, Ms. Liu Xueqin, was sentenced to two years of forced labor at the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp. Her older daughter, Ms. Liu Xuemei, was sentenced to four years of imprisonment, also at the Changsha City Women's Prison.

28. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Wu Mingshu and Li Xiuhua Leave Home to Avoid Arrest

Personnel from the Dongchan Town Police Station in the Anju District, Suining City, Sichuan Province, broke into practitioner Mr. Wu Mingshu's house in Laomiao Village, Shidong Town on May 30, 2006. They confiscated some Dafa books, Master's pictures, truth-clarifying materials, "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," banners, a cell phone and a VCD player. They also arrested his wife, Ms. Zhang Weifeng. Zhang Weifeng was released 24 hours later after the police extorted 2,000 yuan from her. Wu Mingshu had to go into exile to avoid further persecution.

Practitioner Ms. Li Xiuhua from the No. 9 Division of Zhongjiagou Village, Shidong Town also left home to avoid arrest and further persecution.
