Abuse at the Weifang Detention Center Leaves Practitioner Ms. Zhuang Aiping Mentally Traumatized and Suffering from Heart Problems

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhuang Aiping is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Weifang City, Shandong Province who was unlawfully incarcerated for four months at the Weifang Detention Center. Her family members went to see her for the first time on June 12, 2006. According to her family member, she suffered from torture-induced mental trauma and was very weak. When her family members visited her, she had some medicine in her hand. Her family asked her, "Are you taking some medicine?" Ms. Zhuang replied, "The policemen gave me the medicine." Her family then asked her, "Have they beat you?" She kept silent and said only, "They sent me to the Jinan Prison. I was checked out to have heart problems, so the prison refused to accept me. I then was sent back here."

On February 7, 2006, policemen illegally arrested Ms. Zhuang in the Weicheng District while she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and was then taken to a detention center. She held a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The guards brutally force-fed her.

Ms. Zhuang was very weak after a week’s hunger strike. She smelled badly since she was not allowed to shower. Policemen thus made her sleep on the floor. They also ordered criminals to take Ms. Zhuang out on a blanket to be baked under the sun, to supposedly "get rid of the smell."

Several days ago, Ms. Zhuang’s daughter went to the Hanting Court to get the sentencing statement, but the judge refused to hand it over.
