Gu Xianye from Jilin City Sent to Labor Camp, His Family Broken Apart

Mr. Gu Xianye is a 40-year-old Dafa practitioner from Xizhaojiatun, Dongzhaojia Village, Songhuajiang Town, Dehui City, Jilin Province. On the afternoon of April 24, 2006, he went to the Songhuajiang Town Police Station to apply for a new ID card, but was arrested there by policeman Zhang Xiangyang. He was detained in the police station for over two hours before he was sent to Dehui City Detention Center. Six days later he was sentenced to one year of forced labor. At present he is being held in the Jiutai Labor Camp.

After his arrest, his two children were left at home and are being taken care of by his relatives. A family is thus broken apart by the Chinese Communist Party's persecution.
