Shenyang City Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wu Liantie Has Died Under Suspicious Circumstances in the Panjin City Prison, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Liantie was illegally sentenced to an eleven year prison term. Since he persisted in clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa, he was fatally tortured at the Panjin City Prison, Liaoning Province in May 2006. The prison did not send him to the hospital until he had passed away.

Mr. Wu Liantie, 48, lived in Huangbei Village, Ciyutuo Town, Liaozhong County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. He began practicing Falun Dafa in July, 1998. He was acknowledged as a good person in his village.

Since the CCP launched the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, unlawful police officials and the 610 Office raided Mr. Wu Liantie's home often to harass his family. As a result, his living environment worsened. His entire family had no choice but to abandon their house. They were homeless between the spring of 2001 and 2002. No matter what situation Mr. Wu encountered, he persevered in cultivating Falun Dafa.

On April 13, 2005, when Mr. Wu Liantie was on lunch break from his farming work, he was arrested by Li Wei, head of the National Security Brigade, and five or six other policemen from the Police Substation of Ciyutuo Town. They took him to the First Detention Center of Liaozhong County and tortured him. He was also detained at the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center of Shenyang City.

In December 2005, Wu Liantie was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment and detained at the 3^rd Brigade of the Panjin Prison. Wu Liantie persisted in clarifying the truth in prison and exposing the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.

On May 24, 2006, the Panjin City Prison told Mr. Wu's family members to come to the prison. When they arrived, they found that the body of Wu Liantie had already been placed in the freezer of the Panjin City funeral service center. The cause and time of his death was unknown. The person who saw Wu Liantie said that Wu had been sent to the second hospital of Panjin for rescue. However, upon investigation, the hospital said that Wu Liantie had already died before arriving at the hospital.
