Mr. Zuo Zhigang's Mother Sought Justice for Five Years to No Avail - Now Suffers Around-the-Clock Police Harassment

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zuo Zhigang from Shijiazhuang City was arrested from his work place on May 30, 2001, the day before his wedding. Officers from the Qiaoxi Police Department and from the Weiming Street Police Station carried out the arrest. Mr. Zuo was beaten to death a day later.

For the past five years, Zuo Zhigang's mother went to all levels of government in the province and city to seek justice. So far, no official at any level has stepped forward to take responsibility. Mr. Zuo Zhigang's murderers are still at large, while the police constantly harass Zuo Zhigang's mother.

At around 5:00 a.m. on May 21, 2006, Zuo Zhigang's mother went downstairs and was stopped by police officers waiting there. They forced her to return home. As of May 23, a police car has been parked outside her home around the clock, and the police follow her whenever she leaves home.
