By a Dafa disciple from central China

(Clearwisdom.net) Over the years, many Dafa disciples have done a lot in doing the three things Master asks us to do and have achieved good results. Some of us have set up truth-clarifying materials production centers; some have started media outlets; some have distributed huge amounts of truth-clarification materials; and some have written and published many really good articles. But one thing that many of our disciples have neglected to do is that we have not clarified the truth well enough to our own family and friends, classmates and colleagues. Many among them have not even heard us explain the truth to them. While there are many reasons for this oversight, the most important ones are, I think, the thoughts that it is too hard to convince them or the feeling of embarrassment in talking to them about it.

For safety reasons, we do not want too many ordinary people to know what we are doing, and we are unwilling to openly clarify the facts to people who might have predestined relationships with us. We would rather pass out more flyers than talk to them, as they, especially our loved ones, are so hard to convince that we often end up doing more and getting fewer results in explaining the facts to them.

Hard as it may be, they are the ones who have the closest predestined relationships with us and who have pinned their hopes of being saved on us.

Master said in "Teaching the Fa in Canada, 2006,"

Practicing cultivation among every people has indeed provided Dafa disciples with the most convenient ways, and it is the cultivation form that Master set when He started Fa-rectification. This way of cultivation also includes the convenience with which we save all beings during this period. We must not treat our surroundings as a setting for our own improvement only; we should use the righteous thoughts we developed in our cultivation to balance various relationships and save all the people in our families, in society, and in our workplaces.

Besides, many Dafa disciples are attentive in their daily Fa-study, exercises performances, and truth-clarification activities, and yet they are careless in "trivial" things in their daily lives and work. The behavior of some disciples fall far short of the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and as a result ordinary people begin to have negative thoughts towards Dafa. Actually, Dafa disciples are beings created by Dafa, and their realms, thoughts, and behavior are from their hearts--they are not put on or forced. Didn't Master tell us that we should be good persons wherever we are? Under no circumstances should we forget to cultivate ourselves, and we must always think from the perspective of the Fa. Indeed, if every Dafa disciple can open "hundreds of energy channels via one energy channel"(Zhuan Falun) and enable more people to know the truth and join those who have renounced communism, and if the "energy channels" thus grow wider and wider and the righteous fields keep expanding, it will become increasingly easier to save all beings.
