(Clearwisdom.net) The "Falun Gong Workshop for Teachers" has been held in Yunlin every summer since 2003. This year, six elementary schools and middle schools organized the workshop, which was held from July 3 to July 7. Ten principals from elementary and middle schools recommended this workshop to the public, and about 100 teachers attended the workshop. Many children also learned Falun Gong with their parents.

Chen Yingcong, the principal of Guilin Elementary School, said that in previous years the workshops were only two days long. Every participant benefited greatly from the past workshop, so this year organizers extended it to five days. The organizers showed videos of the nine lectures by Master Li Hongzhi, and taught the participants the Falun Gong exercises. They also invited practitioners to share their experiences of cultivating Falun Gong. On the last day of the workshop, all of the participants praised the workshop on the evaluation forms.
The oldest participant was 75-year-old Mr. Cai. He said that he passed by an elementary school on the morning of July 3 and saw someone hanging Falun Dafa banners. A volunteer for the workshop invited him to attend. He went five days in a row, and he felt peace and compassion in his heart during the workshop.
Ms. Yan, a middle school teacher, said that her co-worker recommended this workshop to her. She encountered some xinxing tests right after she obtained the Fa. For example she ordered a copy of Zhuan Falun, but someone took her copy, and she had to order it again. The second time, she got the book, but she regretted that she didn’t give it to others, because she knew that a cultivator should always consider others first.
Mr. Hsu, a businessman in Douliou, shared his story. He was addicted to alcohol and other bad things. He didn’t know about Falun Gong, and he was about to pay money to learn another qigong one month prior. By a special chance, he obtained a copy of Zhuan Falun. He quit chewing betel after reading Zhuan Falun the first time, and he quit smoking after reading it the second time. Now, his wife is cultivating Falun Dafa with him.
Mr. Cai, an elementary school teacher, said that through this workshop he learned that a lot of unhappiness in daily life is actually due to our own attachments. Whenever we encounter conflicts, we should look inward and not blame others.
The Falun Gong workshops have benefited many people. In Yunlin, these workshops have become very popular.
