By a Falun Dafa practitioner outside Mainland China

(Clearwisdom.net) Although I knew about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, I was still really shocked at the publication of the Canadian investigation, particularly by the revelation from a physician's wife that her husband, a former surgeon, performed more than 2,000 cornea removals on Falun Gong practitioners, and that these Falun Gong practitioners were eventually killed. Since only one witness alone testified to so many cases of only cornea removal, then from the 41,500 transplant surgeries of un-explained sources of organs mentioned in the report, it's not difficult to deduce that except that from death-row prisoners, the vast majority of organs are from Falun Gong practitioners.

Such bloody atrocity is committed against cultivators on the path to godhood. How much sin will mankind have to suffer? Yet people in this world are so numb, including a considerable part of us, the cultivators. People's mentality, in my opinion, actually reflects the state of us cultivators as a whole body.

For the past few days I have looked inward at my own stagnant cultivation state. The Senator in my area has refused to meet with us for several years for the reasons of his doing business with China and other factors, plus the wicked CCP's influence by using slanderous propaganda. Aside from sending him newly updated information about us, I found some chances to talk to him on the phone. I told myself never to give up on him.

Following the exposure of the organ harvesting, I again went to the Senator's office. A new secretary said she would try to set up an appointment for us. In the end, however, the Senator's answer was, "I've seen enough Falun Gong practitioners before. I don't want to see any more of them. You should go to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. There's nothing I can do."

I am fully convinced that the publication of an independent third party's investigation report is a rare and precious opportunity for us overseas Dafa disciples to thoroughly clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong and expose the evil nature of the CCP. Ordinary people had previously asked us for evidence - now such an objective third party report is placed in front of the world! This is indeed a fleeting opportunity. This led me to think I must have some problems. When I pondered this quietly at night, I pleaded with Master to help me identify my problems. I sent forth righteous thoughts more frequently.

If a person falls into water and is about to drown, even though I cannot swim, I would do everything I can to call for help, "Help! Someone fell into the water!" Anyone who cherishes human life would do it. He would not ignore the victim simply because he cannot swim. When I tried to meet with my Senator, however, his secretary said that the Senator cannot do anything and that we should go to the Foreign Affairs Minister. Why did I consent to and accept this excuse and leave, without doing anything else? Even if we were merely ordinary people, as long as we still cherish our own lives, we should cherish other people's lives. This is the most basic moral standard for a human being. We really cannot do anything? It is just like that person who cannot swim, at least the ordinary people can yell for help to rescue someone from a certain drowning death, how much more influence would a Senator who was elected by the people have?

A person should strive to be good and kind to the best of his ability, regardless of his role in the society. It doesn't matter how much power we as human beings have, the key is whether we still have a conscience. A person lacking the most basic conscience does not deserve a future.

The Senator, as a government representative of the people, doesn't care about such a major incident. The media, likewise, is overlooking these brutal facts. This is a reflection on modern society's huge moral deviation. By the same token, I, a Dafa disciple, am still accepting and condoning this thinking, so how can I awaken people's conscience according to Master's requirement?

I discovered that my own deviation has prevented me from seeing others' deviation, and I could not correct others' mindset because I was not righteous myself. Master has always told us to look inward when encountering problems. I could not make breakthroughs because I've always looked outside on this issue.

Because numerous practitioners were previously numb on the revelation of organ harvesting, some practitioners who volunteered to do coordination work have been calling upon fellow practitioners to seize the opportunity to clarify the truth. And yet, many practitioners seem as if they are powerless to do anything.

I realized that cultivation is not an ordinary people's activity. It's easy to call on people to engage in an activity, but during the specific process of rescuing the world's people, because of the element of cultivation and also due to interference from the evil old forces, quite frequently, when cultivators cannot break through their barriers in self-cultivation, if they cannot completely understand an issue from the standpoint of the Fa, they would feel powerless and therefore cannot step forward. Sometimes we step forward physically but don't achieve the goal of saving people due to the lack of righteous thoughts. After a long while, when the result is less than optimal, our confidence in clarifying the truth would fall as well.

"Whenever we can't get through a pass in our practice, or whenever our qi isn't able to come down, we should check our character for the cause--"Have I lingered at that level for too long, and now it's time to improve my character?" ("The Sixth Talk, Qigong Psychosis" from Zhuan Falun)

When our sincerity of cherishing the world's people comes forth, we would then no longer forget to look inward to increase our wisdom and ability to save sentient beings.
