The Wonders of Dafa and Seriousness of Cultivation Witnessed Through the Development of My Child

(Clearwisdom.net) My daughter Qiqi is now two years and two months old. She has been very healthy with Teacher’s protection.

On the day she was born, she was only awake for several hours and remained unconscious most of the time. She did not eat or drink for three days straight and became dehydrated. Because I needed to rest after the delivery, my mother (Dafa practitioner) found a pediatrician. Upon examination, he said that it was newborn jaundice and suggested to go to hospital immediately for urgent treatment. According to the pediatrician, if the bilirubin level reached 400, it would be very dangerous. The patient would have a seizure and die soon. However, Qiqi’s bilirubin level reached 630 and had the tendency to go higher. The doctor was amazed that she was still alive.

On the first day in the hospital, the doctor said if she could drink thirty milliliters of formula each time, she might survive. But it was impossible, as she had not taken any food for three days. If this continued, they would need to feed her through a tube.

My mother only had one thought: this child had come here to obtain the Fa. This was to eliminate karma. She would certainly take food. As a result, a miracle happened. She took thirty milliliters for the first time. On the seventh day, her condition stabilized and she was released on the fifteenth day. At that time, her count was still high but the doctor could not do anything.

Miracles soon began to occur one after another after that. When Qiqi was seven months old, she had bumps all over and had a high fever. She cried for a long time. We were not so calm and sent her to the hospital. She was given an intravenous infusion for three days after which she appeared to recover, though three days later, it recurred. She did not really recover until she eliminated all the injected medicine. This time we realized that it was Teacher cleaning her body. We passed the Xinxing test and felt that Teacher was always with us. My whole family is very grateful for Teacher’s protection.

Because of Teacher’s protection, our child is very strong. In flu season, other children fell ill. But Qiqi was unaffected.

One time when she was two years old, she had high fever. Her temperature rose from 38 degrees to 41.5 degrees (Celsius). I sat next to her and comforted her by saying: You are fine. We are Dafa practitioners. This is what you need to bear. You will be fine after this. She seemed to understand and did not cry. Several hours later, her temperature was still 41.5 degrees. My human notions surfaced and I tried to suppress them. When I felt it difficult to suppress them, I had a conversation with myself. "Are you a Dafa practitioner?" "Yes, I am!" "Then you need to believe in Teacher. Do you believe in Teacher?" "Yes, I do!" "Is your child a young Dafa practitioner?" "Yes!"

Instantly, all the interfering notions disappeared. My mind was clear. I asked my child gently, "Qiqi, are you a Dafa practitioner?" To my surprise, she said happily, "Yes." My tears came out. Teacher arranged such a good practitioner to be by my side, isn’t this to help me to improve? What reason could stop me from following Teacher’s words? What could stop me from raising this little practitioner well?

On the fourth day, she was completely back to normal. During this period, my parents (both are practitioners) and I also benefited a great deal. We thank Teacher’s arrangement and protection. Because of this arrangement, we all have an environment to improve. We not only improved our Xinxing and became more confident, but also clearly realized the seriousness of cultivation. We cannot be careless. Only when we rid our attachments diligently, can we follow Teacher home.
