Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners in Mannheim Rally to Condemn the CCP's Atrocities (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday July 22, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in Mannheim, Germany. They exposed the CCP’s persecution against Falun Gong practitioners to the passersby. They carried out a reenactment of the CCP’s organ-harvesting from living people and imprisonment of practitioners in a small cage, and held a photo exhibition. They also collected signatures calling for a stop to the CCP’s atrocities.

There were many passersby in downtown Mannheim. Many of them stopped to watch the anti-torture exhibition and listen to the details of the persecution from the speaker. They were shocked and went to the stand to sign their names to express their condemnation.

A Turkey TV station reporter passed by and took photos of the stand. He went to the operation table to photograph the reenactment of the organ-harvesting. Because of the language barrier, the reporter couldn’t communicate with the practitioners very well. He tried to let the practitioners understand that these things, which are happening in China, haven’t been reported internationally. He expressed that this will be publicized in Turkey.

The weather was unusually hot that day. A German woman admiringly told me, "The lady sitting in the small cage is really terrific. It’s so hot. How can she tolerate it?" I replied, "The lady in the small cage is performing a reenactment, but the real situation in China is much harsher. We want to expose this atrocity to the public and get people’s support. Therefore, we can endure the hardship because it is a righteous cause." This woman nodded and went to the stand to sign her name.

People sign the petition calling for an end of the persecution

A mother and her daughter signed the petition. The girl, who was about ten years old, was shocked by what she saw. After a while, she told her mother that she should pass on the flyers in the school to let more people know. I gave her all flyers I had in my hands, and she accepted them solemnly.

An Asian woman said to a German woman, "This kind of information should be widely spread to help the German people understand the real human rights situation in China and to stop the atrocity." She took several blank petition forms to collect signatures in her clinic. She is a midwife and from the Philippines. After seeing the name she signed, I suddenly recalled that she was the midwife who helped me nine years ago. I hurriedly looked for her in the crowd, but she had already left. I wanted to say from the bottom of my heart, "Thank you, Gina. Best wishes to you."

Many people expressed their support for the Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts and encouraged us to keep it up. The practitioners felt delighted because more and more people are understanding the truth.
