Achievements On the Path to Godhood

(Clearwisdom.net) We are Teacher's disciples, and everything of ours that is pure and righteous will be carried over to the future. The Fa will harmonize everything eternally. We are beings that will become masters of incalculable numbers of beings and kings. All of the aforementioned will not happen after Consummation, but along our cultivation path.

On our cultivation path, which will become a safeguard for the future cosmos, we will have to cultivate every mighty virtue that is required for being a master and king in the future cosmos. We have to achieve the mind-intent, which is required of a master who is paying everything for sentient beings. Besides, the mind-intent of a master who can sacrifice him/herself for the truth of cosmos should have been achieved by now.

As practitioners, we should no longer carry the mindset of "being grateful to Teacher." Teacher doesn't want our gratitude, but rather wants us to become beings that carry great responsibility in the future cosmos. For a true disciple, this is meant to achieve Teacher's wish, and fully understand everything that he/she should accomplish. There are no role models on the road of cultivation. But, we have Teacher, our benevolent Teacher, whom we must follow! Everything He has done during the Fa-rectification is an example for disciples to follow!

There was an article on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net), about someone's dream. Teacher was navigating a boat for sentient beings. A big spear went through Teacher's chest and he didn't even blink his eyes. This is our Teacher, who is able to let go of everything for the sake of sentient beings and disciples! Before such a Teacher, his disciples can't just say, "Praising and feeling grateful is beyond any description." What disciples should achieve during the Fa-rectification period is to save all sentient beings selflessly. Teacher is fully responsible for us, therefore we should achieve the same level of responsibility for sentient beings. It is not that we should think too highly of ourselves, but only of the requirements of the future cosmos, which are also the standards for masters and kings of the future cosmos, and the standards Teacher wants us to achieve.

I think that what we have seen that Teacher has undertaken for us, and the reasons why Teacher told us about our tasks, is not for showing off. It is for letting all disciples see what is required of them. Stated more clearly, it is to tell all disciples, "As a protector of the future cosmos, all disciples should be like that!"

Since the early stages when Teacher was spreading the Fa, the evil has interfered continuously. Yet, Teacher paid no attention. He put his entire heart into spreading the Fa, because at that time, spreading the Fa was top priority. After the persecution started, the evil Party attempted to have Teacher extradited back to China in exchange for a reduction of USD$500 million of trade surplus. They also searched everywhere for Teacher in an attempt to harm Teacher. At the same time, interference and pressure of different kinds were escalating. Yet, Teacher continued to only think of disciples. He was concerned that disciples couldn't make it through the upcoming trials. Also, during that time Teacher traveled to different places throughout the world and continued lecturing. He imparted everything that disciples should know.

Disciples, who began the practice before July 20, 1999, already knew what was expected of them. Six books were published at the time, and new articles were published, one after another. Teacher was looking after disciples as closely as possible. Then the persecution began! Teacher clearly understood that disciples could not have born the true evilness. Therefore, he eliminated all the evils that were pressing down on the three realms for nine months, and Teacher battled the true evilness on his own. He only left the evilness that manifested in the human world for disciples to eliminate. It is certain that this evilness was to be eliminated by disciples, to mold Dafa disciples. As long as disciples improve their xinxing, they certainly will make it through this tribulation.

Now, when looking back at all that has happened, at the path that Teacher has taken, we can see Teacher's indestructible will! Confronted with any evil interference, Teacher only thinks of sentient beings, and is being responsible to sentient beings! We are Teacher's disciples, so we should have such "diamond wills" as well!

"The hand, erected, props up the falling sky..."

"Untold have been the hardships, some fifteen years,
Little could anyone know the pains and worries of rectifying Fa,
All is for naught if living creatures can't be saved,
I shan't stop until it has covered realms vast and minuscule."

Considering all of what Teacher has done during the Fa-rectification, Teacher's disciples should hold the same stance. Teacher said,

"I just don't believe their consciences are irretrievably lost." ("For the Good of the World")

What strong belief in human kind! Teacher doesn't hold past faults of any sentient being against them. He looks only at a sentient being's attitude toward Dafa during the Fa-rectification. Even though disciples did something wrong during momentary lapses, he gives them chances again and again. "I just don't believe their consciences are irretrievably lost." Teacher treats sentient beings like that. As Teacher's disciples, shouldn't we follow suit? Even though you acted as an intelligent agent before, or you have committed something that did disservice to Dafa, it doesn't really matter. It also doesn't matter if you have committed something of even greater wrongness, as long as you turn around and atone for your past sin, and cultivate Dafa with a sincere heart, Teacher will not give up on you, and Teacher will not treat you differently, Teacher came down here just for you! Teacher will save you for sure! Teacher is like that already. As disciples, what we can say? Let go of all attachments, and be upright on our path that remains ahead.

"The Fa-rectification will definitely succeed, and Dafa disciples will definitely succeed." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western U.S. Fa Conference")

This truth will manifest in the human world soon, and the great Buddha Fa will reappear in our human world! Every interference, every evil, every old element, will become part of history during the Fa rectification of the human world. Cherish this opportunity, fellow practitioners. When history comes to this current stage, everything will not happen again, when history passes today, everything new will begin.

In the end, I'd like to quote Teacher's words,

"Gold's luster increases as it is refined over time. Through righteous thoughts and righteous acts, Dafa disciples are establishing every aspect of their divinity, and are, at the same time, building the cosmos's future." ("To the Chicago Fa Conference")
