Some Thoughts on Studying Master’s Article "For the Good of the World" By a practitioner in Mainland China (Clearwisdom.net) After studying the article "For the Good of the World," I enlightened that our Dafa disciples have to improve our xinxing in order to save more sentient beings.
I'll give an example to illustrate my point. Practitioners in our area keep relying on practitioners in other areas to supply the Nine Commentaries. We have about one hundred practitioners but only several of us are working on truth-clarifying materials. We are far behind the requirement that Teacher set for us in one of his articles that we should have the Dafa material sites throughout our area like flowers blossoming everywhere. Practitioners here as a whole have a strong attachment to fear. Some of the practitioners are still in the personal cultivation state similar to what they had before July 20, 1999. They are not able to understand the Fa from the Fa and pay attention only to the formality instead of xinxing improvement. They don’t work hard at improving their xinxing. Recently, quite a few practitioners seemed to have strong interference from sickness karma. All these indicate that we have omissions that evil things take advantage of. Teacher said, "Dafa disciples are to do what Dafa disciples are supposed to do, openly and with confidence. When you [are able to do that] and have no thoughts of being dependent on other people or things, the evil won't dare to exploit your gaps, and bad things will flee at the mere sight of you, because you have no omissions that it can exploit. When the evil can persecute students, isn't that because it manages to exploit the students' gaps arising from their attachments? Isn't that why it can persecute students in the first place? This includes some students feeling physical discomfort, even to the point of having seemingly serious conditions or in some cases even passing away prematurely. There are factors arranged by the old forces at work there, but there's also an element of the students themselves not acting so righteously. If [you] act in a truly righteous manner, nothing will dare to lift a finger against you." ("Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005") As for myself, I have been running a family-based material site and have been working on truth-clarifying materials for almost two years. I rely on practitioners in other places on many occasions. I haven’t been always acting with righteous thoughts and have brought lots of trouble to the practitioners in other areas. Due to my attachment to fear and protecting myself, I haven’t coordinated well with local practitioners and caused them to rely on practitioners in other places. Teacher said: "Spread widely the Nine Commentaries, and the wicked Party shall fade." ("For the Good of the World") How to get the Nine Commentaries and how to spread widely the Nine Commentaries are the issues that our local practitioners have to address. In order to do it well, we have to improve our xinxing as one body and should not rely on others anymore. We should do things that Dafa disciples have to do and should set up material sites and have them throughout our area like flowers blossoming everywhere. Master said, ‘The fact is, every Dafa disciple has been using his or her income to validate Dafa. That is outstanding. And that is not from having taken up a collection; rather, it is done from the heart. That is mighty virtue." ("Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angles") As Fa-rectification has already progressed this far, we don’t have much time left, but there are still so many sentient beings waiting for us to save. We shouldn’t continue being numb. Let’s cultivate diligently together to save sentient beings and to fulfil our vows we made in pre-historic times.
