Additional Information about the Persecution of Practitioners in Beihai City

On July 10, 2000, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Jilan, a resident of Baihutou Village, Xiantian Town in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, was arrested. Her house was ransacked and she was detained at the Beihai City Second Detention Center for 15 days.

In January 2001, Ms. Chen Jilan was arrested at home. She was detained at the Xiantian Town Police Station. Then she was transferred to the Beihai City Second Detention Center and was held there for 15 days.

On March 2, 2001, Ms. Chen was forced to go to Longtan Brainwashing Class for 15 days. During that time, two weeks' salary was withheld by her employer (a credit union) and the police extorted 1,000 yuan from her.

On October 26, 2002, Ms. Chen was taken to the Beihai City Drug-Rehabilitation Center by police and detained there for 22 days.

On October 7, 2003, Ms. Chen was arrested and detained at Yinhai District Police Department for three days. Then she was transferred to the Beihai City Second Detention Center for 15 days.

On February 25, 2004, Ms. Chen was arrested from work. She was detained secretly for four days.
