Our Teacher once said,

"As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Experience Sharing Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A")

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is still persecuting Falun Dafa and practitioners in China. Our practitioners have safeguarded Falun Dafa with determination and clarified the truth, thereby saving sentient beings. Reading the articles in Minghui Weekly, it is easy to realize that practitioners in some areas have done very well, which has improved their general environment, whereas practitioners in other areas have not done as well and their environment has remained poor. Thus, the state of the environment reflects the mentality of the area’s practitioners.

Teacher told us that we should always look within whenever we encounter problems. In the process of truth-clarification and validating Dafa, I have also discovered my own shortcomings. For example, I am still unable to make contact with practitioners in my local area, which means that I still cannot break through the arrangements of the old forces in this regard. What follows are my experiences during truth-clarification. If there is anything improper, please point it out with compassion.

I live in an economically developed district in southern China which has attracted people from many different regions in China. People come here to make money and they put a high value on money. Therefore, when I clarify the truth, I use many examples showing that people who believe in Falun Dafa have done very well in business. The results of explaining the truth in this way are very good. I work for a government-owned company and there are more than ten people in my office. I have clarified the truth to some of my colleagues individually and most of them agreed with me. Some have even withdrawn from the CCP.

One day, all my colleagues were working in the office and chatting at the same time. In the course of the discussion, someone said that he generally listens to the CCP. I said, "I don’t." The supervisor of my office said stiffly and coldly, "Whom do you listen to if you don’t listen to the CCP?" I knew he had worked in a police station for over ten years and there were rumors that he had also participated in the arrest of Dafa practitioners. Moreover, while at the police station, he had developed some nasty habits such as reporting some people to his superiors behind their backs and giving them a hard time. He was one of those people who are totally brainwashed by the CCP.

Everybody in the office did their best to avoid him. I had clarified the truth to him before, but he was too deeply poisoned by the CCP and did not want to withdraw from the CCP. As soon as he said those words, everyone in the office suddenly became quiet. I got the impression that if I did not reply to his question, no one would ever dare to raise this issue again. Moreover, the people to whom I had successfully clarified the truth and who had withdrawn from the CCP, would lose their righteous thoughts if I did not correct the environment.

I had to make a split-second decision to either clarify the truth, validate Falun Dafa and save people, or to protect myself. I could not allow him to poison all my colleagues in the office and I calmed down and started to tell them what I had read on the websites about the vast spread of Falun Dafa overseas. Perhaps because of this righteous thought emerging, the tense situation all of a sudden relaxed. One of the colleagues who had withdrawn from the CCP helped me to explain why the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident was staged. Surprisingly, the supervisor admitted that he had seen some banners with the words "Global Coalition to Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice" on the streets in Hong Kong. The discussion continued even after work.

During the discussion, I told them about the crimes the communist party committed during the persecution of Falun Gong, including the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident. I also explained the rumor spread by the CCP regarding "the siege of Zhongnanhai," and their lies about the health effects of Falun Gong, and so on. Everyone in the office said how interesting the discussion had been and that we should have similar discussions more frequently in the future.

During the entire process, I felt that Teacher helped me to rectify the entire field. Teacher wants only our unselfish hearts and righteous thoughts. With righteous thoughts, we can rectify the environment in our homes, our workplaces and our society. It doesn't matter whether the area is big or small, it can all be rectified by a Falun Dafa practitioner’s righteous thoughts. I sincerely thank our merciful Teacher for saving me. I firmly believe Teacher and Dafa. I will do the three things well and follow Teacher back home on my way towards Consummation.
