Taiwan: Our Practice Site at the Chongli City Department of Health (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The practice site at the Department of Health in Chongli City is located at 525 East Chongshan Road, Chongli City, Taiwan. Since it is near the busy intersection of East Chongsan Road and South Rongmin Road, many people can see us practicing in the early morning. When the traffic light turns red, drivers and pedestrians turn their heads to watch our group of practitioners doing the Falun Gong exercises.

We meet from 4:50 to 7:10 a.m. every day. The sitting meditation exercise is practiced first, followed by the four standing exercises. There are around twenty practitioners at this site. At least sixteen practitioners practice there every day. Everyone tries to come regardless of weather. Practitioners include retired government officials, housewives, department store managers, vendors in the market – a wide range of people. Everyone works together to maintain a good practice site and make best use of the quiet morning to practice the Falun Gong exercises.

Practicing the exercises in the morning

This group used to practice at South Asian Technology College. Due to the SARS outbreak in 2003, the college campus was temporarily closed to the public. The practitioners then started practicing at the current site. We practice the exercises under the eaves if it rains, and in the parking lot if it's clear. Everyone sits down to read Zhuan Falun and share cultivation experiences after the exercises every Saturday. In addition, we have group Fa study and experience sharing at Longchang Road in Chongli City from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. every Thursday and from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. each Friday. Each practitioner is welcome to share what he or she enlightens to in cultivation practice. The environment at our Fa-study is harmonious.

Each practitioner at our practice site has a different background, but they are all willing to share and encourage each other to follow "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in daily life.
