(Clearwisdom.net) We are an ordinary family in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. I have been a farmer, a construction worker, and a coal miner. Now I am a small business owner.

A friend visited my family on July 12, 2006. He told us about the Chinese Communist Party's evil deeds and that the heavens are eradicating the CCP. He said that one can be safe only by quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Every family member who had joined the CCP organizations agreed to quit on the spot.

My friend also told us that Falun Dafa is a righteous cultivation practice of the Buddha school and that Falun Dafa has spread all over the world. He also said that only the CCP persecutes the good people who believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and that the propaganda about Falun Dafa from TV, newspapers, etc., was all lies. My friend gave us three Dafa amulets and said that by reciting "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" disasters could be transformed into good things. We all believed what he said.

Three days later a flood hit in our area. A few days of rain caused widespread flooding, and many families' property and domestic animals were washed away.

Our home is located in a very low area. We were quite worried as we saw the water rising higher and higher. None of us slept during the night as we were prepared to leave the house at any time. Meanwhile, we kept on reciting "Falun Dafa is good!" My toddler son, in particular, recited "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" the whole night.

It was raining nonstop, and the flooding was becoming worse. The current, with massive amounts of water, was rushing violently downstream at a high speed. We then saw a magical, pumpkin-like object spinning on the surface of the water in front of our house. It was in front of our house from the afternoon until the evening. Since the flood was so massive and rapid, anything in the water's path would have been washed away. Nothing could stay there. How magical the "pumpkin" was! The water stayed a few inches lower than our house--it was unable to reach our house!

All of our family knows that the reason for this was that we had learned the truth and that we firmly believed that Falun Dafa is good! Dafa's Master truly protected us. Thank you, Falun Dafa. One can truly be protected by gods by reciting "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good."

I also want to tell you something else. A woman who lives not far from us still believes in the CCP, and she didn't want to quit the evil party. Even though the flood washed away most of her family's property, she didn't receive any assistance or support from the government. Her family was stunned by how the government provided no help. In a society controlled by the CCP, the corrupt officials don't care about people's lives. I hope that my Chinese countrymen will wake up soon. Only by seeing through the CCP's evil deeds and by quitting the wicked CCP's three organizations can one become safe.
