By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently the evil forces have become crazier, installing electronic surveillance devices such as cameras, monitoring telephones and cell phones, and blocking Internet access to interfere with the Fa-rectification process. Some specific articles have recently appeared to remind fellow practitioners about the serious nature of security issues. As for me, I usually pay much attention to security issues. Normally I distribute materials far away from my home in order to avoid the cameras. I also canceled my cell phone account, since I suspected it was already under surveillance, and I also have not attempted to access the Chinese Minghui (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) website ever since my computer firewall stopped working.

Yesterday, my husband bought a new cell phone for me. He thought that my old cell phone did not work, and today he called me on my cell to remind me to reheat my leftovers before eating them in order to avoid getting sick. I did not think too much about his words because I simply thought that he was caring for me. After I read the two articles in issue 230 of Minghui Weekly, entitled "Believing our Teacher" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2006/6/ 20/74643.html ) and "Recognize Your Powers and Abilities" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2006/6/15/74490.html ), I suddenly realized that when I promised to reheat the leftovers before eating them, that I already acknowledged in my heart that eating leftovers would result in diarrhea. Isn't this an ordinary person's thinking? How can I intentionally or unintentionally follow an ordinary person's way of thinking? I further realized that I also acknowledged the arrangements of the evil in regard to the security issues and that my divine side did not play a positive role in my thinking on these issues.

When I read the "Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles" Teacher said,

" ...I wanted the transformation of the surface body to be in sync with the part that has been well-cultivated; I wanted to have the body be disassociated with the human state during cultivation; and I wanted to have the cultivating disciples use their own righteous thoughts to maintain a state that is just like that of human beings."... "Both this content and process are necessary for Fa-rectification. I am not referring to things that will happen when the Fa rectifies the human world."

My understanding of the verse for exercise one is that during the present persecution, Teacher intends us to break through the confinements of human thinking, and join the surface body and the well-cultivated divine side together. Thus following the mechanisms given by Teacher, without being moved by the phenomena of this world, this way we can open up our divine powers.

Teacher told us in the "On Buddha Law" (Zhuan Falun, 2003 version translation),

"To tell it like it is, as advanced as computers may be, they can't compare to the human brain, which to this day is a mystery that baffles researchers. Regardless of how far spaceships may travel, they still cannot fly beyond this material dimension in which the human race exists." ..... "all because these people are too narrow-minded and are unwilling to change their longstanding way of thinking."

Teacher is waiting for us to transform our minds. Let's think about it; how can surveillance, telephone monitoring and Internet surveillance in this surface dimension restrict Dafa practitioner's bodies from being transformed by high energy matter from other dimensions? Dafa practitioner's telephones and computers are mighty tools to clarify the truth and save the sentient beings. How can they be interfered with by the evil? Paying attention to security issues is to use righteous thoughts among ordinary people and protect Dafa from suffering losses, which is being responsible for Dafa and for fellow practitioners, but we must be sure to do this without fear. Fear is an acknowledgment of the old forces.

Let's tackle the present interference by the evil with our righteous thoughts, as Teacher taught in "Teaching the Fa on Easter, 2004, at the New York Fa Conference,"

"Today is Easter, the day of a god's resurrection! (Enthusiastic applause) This is all I'll say today. On this special, glorious day, may Dafa disciples' divine sides also be resurrected!"

Let's follow what Teacher said, and resurrect our divine sides.
