(Clearwisdom.net) Ever since the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners was exposed, people all over the world have condemned this atrocity. Established in April 2006, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China has invited people from all circles to get involved. The coalition aims to reveal the whole truth about the CCP's live organ harvesting in jails, forced labor camps, detention centers, brainwashing centers and other places through an independent investigation, and eventually stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China that has lasted seven years. On the afternoon of Aug. 3, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Kaohsiung met with the Kaohsiung County Governor and extended an invitation for him to join the coalition.

Governor Yang Chiu-hsing said that he could not agree with the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and that Falun Gong was the hope of China.

Governor Yang Chiu-hsing said, "The CCP's regime is inhumane, and live organ harvesting is a tragedy for humanity."

Governor Yang thought it was a most evil thing to harvest organs from living people to make a profit. He had heard about the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. One of his neighbors received an organ transplant from Mainland China, but the transplant didn't help him. The governor said that he would remind hospitals and clinics in his county to see the brutality of the CCP and warn them not to get involved in any illegal trade of organs.

Governor Yang said that he would like to express his support for the coalition, though he wouldn't be able to go to China to participate in the investigation. He wrote down the reasons for his support: "The CCP's regime is inhumane, and live organ harvesting is a tragedy for humanity. Falun Gong practitioners are admirable for their sense of justice, their unyielding spirit and their exposure of the crime! Truth will certainly win out over evil."
