(Clearwisdom.net) I went to visit my Aunt Jing some time ago and happened to meet her husband, Uncle Lin, who had been illegally arrested and had just been released.

Aunt Jing began to practice Falun Dafa before July 20, 1999. At that time, she was the only one in her family who practiced. However, Uncle Lin and her two children supported her practice because she had become so healthy and good-tempered. Before Aunt Jing began to practice Dafa, she had had a cancerous tumor. Shortly after she began to practice, pus and blood started to ooze from where the tumor grew. Aunt Jing understood that Teacher was purifying her body.

Every day, Aunt Jing used a bandage to wrap the wound. In a few weeks, all the filth had drained away and the wound naturally healed. The whole family was overjoyed. Uncle Lin was especially grateful to Teacher and Dafa.

On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to spread its hate propaganda all over China, slandering and defaming Falun Gong. Many practitioners went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. Aunt Jing also planned to do so. Uncle Lin and their two children were very supportive. They bought a train ticket for her and were left with only 400 yuan after she left.

Aunt Jing was illegally arrested and detained in the local police station. However, her righteousness impressed a policeman and soon she was released.

After Aunt Jing returned home, she began to clarify the truth to the public. Uncle Lin always accompanied Aunt Jing when she went out to put up truth-clarification signs. One day, when they were putting up a sign, the police arrested them. At the police station, the policemen raised the electric batons to shock Aunt Jing, but Uncle Lin said, "Don't torture her. Go ahead and beat me if you have to, but don't harm her, for our children's sake." The merciless policemen shocked Uncle Lin on his head and neck with the electric batons that emitted blue sparks. Uncle Lin's skin was badly burned.

While Uncle Lin and Aunt Jing were being tortured, their two teenage children were crying in each other's arms at home. They had to learn to do household chores at home and went from place to place to try to rescue their parents. They went to the 610 Office, to the national security brigade, to court and the procuratorate.

When their parents were finally rescued and returned home because of their efforts and the efforts of other practitioners, the first thing they said to their parents was, "Mom, we have learned to do all the household chores."

Uncle Lin was dismissed from his job so the family lost their source of income. The two children had to go to work to earn a few hundred yuan a month. They gave every cent of their earnings to their parents, not only to cover the daily expenses, but also to be used for clarifying the truth. Even under such pressure, Aunt Jing did not give up cultivation and Uncle Lin and their two children also began to practice Dafa. Every time I went to visit them, I felt so warm and thankful. Because of Dafa, everything had become so harmonious.

Before long, the court and the procuratorate made other excuses to arrest Uncle Lin. He was later released because of the rescue efforts of many practitioners. When he was released, he was very pale and had a long beard. Later we learned that he was not allowed to sleep and was forced to sit on a small stool every day. He sat on the stool for so long that his bottom festered and oozed pus. When he stood up, the stool stuck to his bottom. He was not allowed to sleep for seven consecutive days. 610 Office personnel continuously came to harass Jing and Lin at their home. Sometimes they surrounded their home with police cars, sometimes they ordered the police to monitor the entrances. People often heard Lin's family reading aloud in their home. The whole family sat together and read Teacher's books. Sometimes, people also heard their laughter. They had improved their character in cultivation and had become more considerate of each other. The whole family had become so much more harmonious.

Falun Dafa is a good practice that helps to improve one's body and mind. It benefits society and people in all ways and causes no harm. I truly admire Falun Gong practitioners. Under such a red terror, they persist in their belief calmly and continue to clarify the truth wholeheartedly. The CCP's huge evil state apparatus became nothing in front of Falun Gong practitioners. I wonder how many tribulations Falun Gong practitioners will have to experience and how much mistreatment they will have to bear before the truth is finally revealed to the world.
