With Our Minds on the Fa, Rectify Our Every Single Thought

(Clearwisdom.net) An article in Vol. 231 of "Minghui Weekly" talks about a practitioner who claimed, out of his attachment to showing-off, that he would not get influenza and could even eliminate the flu virus for other people. As a result, the dark minions and rotten ghosts exploited his gap and brought him a large quantity of the virus. He developed symptoms of severe influenza. Fortunately the practitioner realized it in time, and was able to pull through the tribulation with the help of Master, and negated the arrangement of the old forces.

It reminds me of a story I read before: There was a young girl about 18 or 19 years old. Her family was poor, and her mother was ill, so she prayed to an image of Buddha that she wished to marry a good man so that her parents could be taken care of. No sooner did she have the thought that it came to the notice of a demon. The demon transformed into a young man to lure her during the day, and appeared in her room at night. The young girl secretly held a sharp knife and pretended to be sleeping, so the young man dared not get close. The demon then put a lot of treasure on the table and left. The girl was not moved and didn't even take a look. When it was about daybreak, the young man suddenly entered the room again and said "I secretly observed you all night and you didn't pick up any of the treasure or even take a look. When a person is not affected by material interest, demon and ghost cannot do anything to her. I have underestimated you." Then the demon left with a deep sigh.

The girl was not harmed by the demon because she was not greedy for money nor attached to lust. Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period should have our minds on the Fa at every moment, and with righteous thoughts and conduct, demons would have no gaps to exploit nor any means to persecute us. I have a deep appreciation of this issue. I was arrested twice, and quite frankly, because I didn't maintain righteous thoughts and actions and treated a lot of the bad thoughts that came up as my own, I was exploited by the evil demons and rotten ghosts as a result. The lesson is indelible in my mind.

Teacher taught us:

"In the macrocosm and in the microcosm, all beings are closely watching all these things on the earth. They know Dafa disciples' every single action and every single thought. Everything that Dafa disciples do is clearly displayed before the eyes of higher beings. So be sure to do well and win their admiration." (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston)

As the saying goes, "A whisper in the human dimension is heard as thunder in heaven," and "When a thought arises, heaven and earth all know about it." However, many people believe that others won't know our thoughts. To have our every thought on the Fa and constantly maintain righteous thoughts and actions, the most effective way is to study, memorize and recite the Fa more. Only if we judge everything by the Fa, unceasingly rectify and purify ourselves, and truly and diligently cultivate ourselves, will we be worthy of Teacher's benevolent salvation and the incomparably glorious title of "Fa-rectification Dafa disciples."
