After Suffering Years of Persecution, 74-Year-Old Ms. Liu Yuerui Dies

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liu Yuerui, 74, from Liquanzhuang Town, Laixi, Qingdao City, recovered her health after practicing Falun Dafa. In the fast few years, she and her son, Mr. Li Zuoqing, have been persecuted by the CCP. Ms. Liu died on April 25, 2006. More details follow.

After she started to practice Falun Dafa, the many diseases Ms. Liu had suffered were healed and she became very healthy. When people praised her, she would often say, "It is because of Dafa that I am so healthy."

In the spring of 2000, Ms. Liu and her son, Mr. Li Zuoqing, went to Beijing to validate Dafa, but they were arrested by the Laixi police, detained at a veterinary station for a few days and sent back home.

After they were released, the police often went to Ms. Liu Yuerui's home to harass her so that she could no longer live a peaceful life. In the spring of 2005, her son, Li Zuoqing, was out clarifying the truth and was reported by the secretary of Gaofu Village, Diao Zhuke. On April 16, 2005, he was illegally arrested by Shen Tao and others from the Laixi Police Department and detained at the Laixi Detention Center. Inside, he was beaten by criminals.

Ms. Liu went to the police department to ask Shen Tao to release her son. He refused. A month later, her son was sent to the Xin Village brainwashing center. After a few days, he was transferred to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp to serve a three-year sentence. Ms. Liu's husband, Mr. Li Kongcun, was under intense pressure and often cried because he missed his son so much. Two months later, he had a stroke and became paralyzed. Their older son, Li Zuozhen, and son-in-law, Song Changwu, were fooled by the lies of CCP and abused their mother.

Ms. Liu Yuerui was persecuted for a long time and was under enormous pressure from her family. She could not bear the combined mental and physical abuse and died on April 25, 2006. Her husband called her name every day. He did not know that his wife had died. Mr. Li Zuoqing, in the forced labor camp, also did not know about his mother's death.

We hope that righteous people will extend a helping hand to stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and let these good people regain their freedom as soon as possible.
