Canada: City of Vernon Passes Resolution Regarding the CCP Atrocity of Organ Harvesting (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) On Aug. 30, 2006, Mayor Wayne Lippert of Vernon, Canada wrote to Premier Campbell about a resolution passed by his city council regarding the CCP atrocity of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The letter called for the Premier to help stop the atrocity.

The letter said, "at their regular meeting held on August 28, 2006, Council for the City of Vernon reviewed and discussed the attached information provided by the Falun Dafa Association of B.C.

Council subsequently passed the following resolution:

'THAT Council direct staff to send a letter to the Province of British Columbia regarding the validity of claims made regarding recent reports of the Chinese Communist Party harvesting organs from live Falun Gong Practitioners in China;

AND FURTHER, that if the these allegations are true, that the Province of British Columbia take action to condemn these acts, and actively lobby the Government of Canada, and other international bodies to further investigate and intervene.'"

Mayor lippert called for the Premier's actions to help bring this practice to an end if these allegations are true.
