(Clearwisdom.net) As the Fa-rectification has progressed up to today, we have become increasingly mature. In the face of the persecution, such as unlawful arrest and imprisonment by the police, being fired from jobs, having money extorted, and so on, the majority of Falun Gong practitioners are able to prevail with righteous thoughts. However, the evil has resorted to a new approach, further exploiting the loopholes in our understanding of the Fa.

For example, quite a few practitioners in our area have run into a lot of interference from their family members. Some practitioners' family members became ill. Some were very ill and spent a long time in the hospital. Others have passed away. Some practitioners' family members were unemployed for a long time. Some practitioners' family members had not been able to get paid at work for a long time. Some have even become destitute. Sometimes when we clarified the truth to the local people and told them they would be blessed with good fortune if they say, "Falun Gong is good," some of them refuted our words, saying, "You told us to say, 'Falun Gong is good,' to have good fortune, but I know a Falun Gong practitioner's family that has had a long run of bad fortune. How do you explain it? I can hardly believe that she has never told her family to say, 'Falun Gong is good.'" The interference on Falun Gong practitioners' family members have sabotaged Falun Gong practitioners doing the Three Things and hampered everyday people from being saved. It is essential that we attain a clear understanding on this issue.

Interference with our families is essentially an indirect, surreptitious persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. The evil is resorting to this sordid plot in an attempt to exhaust practitioners' time and energy, destroy practitioners' will and eliminate their family members. In addition, this can also ruin sentient beings' chance for salvation. If we fail to have a clear understanding, we will most likely do the Three Things for the sake of doing things and take the path of personal cultivation that the old forces arranged. As a result, the demonic tribulations will increase or we will be trapped in the demonic tribulations for a long time, hampering us from doing the Three Things.

From studying Teacher's Fa, we know that in Fa-rectification cultivation, Teacher does not arrange tests for us solely based on our personal cultivation. With that in mind, we should regard all the questions we face from the basis of the Fa-rectification. We must overcome everything that is detrimental to our attempt to save sentient beings.

Meanwhile, we need to seek within. Have we clarified the truth thoroughly to our family? Have our family members understood the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)? Have they understood and accepted that Falun Gong is good? If the answer is no to any of these questions, we have left a loophole for the evil to exploit. It means that we have not done our job or treated our family members as sentient beings that we must save.

At the beginning, the old forces made a very detailed arrangement for each and every Falun Gong practitioner, which very likely includes our family members. These arrangements must have been based on the old forces' law of mutual generation and mutual inhibition. Teacher denies all of the old forces' arrangements and has asked us to deny them as well. It follows that we must never acknowledge the old forces' persecution against Falun Gong practitioners' family members. We must disintegrate and eliminate the evil and save our family members with compassion. We should clarify the truth to them in detail, have them understand the truth and help them withdraw from the CCP. Meanwhile, we should search within from the perspective of the Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings and rectify ourselves with the Fa.

On the other hand, although the entire family will benefit if a person practices Falun Gong, it does not mean that when a person practices Falun Gong, his entire family will become perfectly healthy and immortal or will no longer meet any karmic retribution when they do bad deeds. That would be a misinterpretation of the Fa. Everyday people will enjoy good fortune and pay back their karma based on the virtue and karma they accumulate, although there are some exceptions. For example, a Falun Gong practitioner's family member's life span may become longer than predestined because he/she understands and accepts the truth about Falun Gong. Perhaps a Falun Gong practitioner's family's sickness karma will be reduced because he/she accepts the truth about Falun Gong. There are very complex situations at times. There is no one answer to every possible scenario. But one thing is for sure: No matter who it is and no matter how much karma the person has, each person will have a future upon accepting the truth about Falun Gong.

Finally, let's send out powerful righteous thoughts, eliminate the old forces' forms of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners and deny the old forces thoroughly. Let's strive to do the Three Things well because everything is in it. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
