Moldova: Practitioners Expose the Chinese Communist Regime’s Persecution of Falun Gong (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Republic of Moldova is located in central Europe between Romania to the west and Ukraine to the east and south. Among its 4,341,000 population, sixty-four percent are Moldavians, with Ukrainians and Russians as the other ethnic groups. With a territory of 33.7 thousand square kilometers, the Republic of Moldova used to be a state of the former USSR.

Falun Gong was introduced to Moldova in 2003. Although Falun Gong practitioners in Moldova are rather late in starting the practice and most of them have not studied Falun Gong for very long, they follow the journey of Fa-clarification closely and strive to cultivate themselves by doing well the three things. In 2006, they held a series of activities in the country’s capital, Kishinev, to expose the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Among the various forms of persecution, the focus has been the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and the subsequent sale of the organs for profit.

On one occasion, young practitioners distributed truth-clarifying materials to passers-by under the burning sun. Their compassionate hearts moved the people. A passer-by commented, "It is truly unusual to learn the truth from a boy. It would be nice for our society to have more youths like him."

On another occasion some people saw the words on practitioners’ banner from afar. They walked toward the practitioners and asked, "What is this all about? Isn’t China developing and growing rapidly? Aren’t people there enjoying a good life?" After they read the truth-clarification materials and listened to practitioners’ explanations, they changed their views right away. While signing her name on the petition, a lady said, "This evil Chinese communist regime has been persecuting its countrymen." An elderly man sighed, "Communists have brought people into a dead end."

In some cases, the policemen on duty at the rally took suspicious attitudes toward practitioners in the beginning because they heard the lies spread by the Chinese communist regime. However, when they saw the facial expressions of a large group of passers-by who stopped in front of the practitioners to hear the facts, the policemen also approached practitioners to learn the truth. When the policemen understood that Falun Gong practitioners were persecuted simply because they wanted to cultivate themselves according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance so as to become good people, and that Falun Gong practitioners never resorted to violent retaliation no matter how brutally they were tortured, the police were deeply moved. Some of them indicated their intention to learn Falun Gong and asked where they could obtain a copy of Zhuan Falun.

The people of Moldova were overwhelmed by the brutality of the persecution exposed on the information boards and flyers. A lot of people signed their names on a petition letter to urge the president, the parliament and the government of Moldova to take immediate action to stop the crimes committed by the Chinese communist regime.
