By a practitioner from Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 24, 2006, the Clarifying the Truth Group in Taiwan held a conference at the Youth Center in Taichung County, to share experiences about promoting the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, urging people from Mainland China to quit the party and "clarifying the truth" to people from Mainland China on the phone. Approximately 1,200 practitioners attended the conference, including practitioners from remote areas in Yilan County.

Many practitioners shared their experiences of promoting the Nine Commentaries. Through their effort, many Chinese people have quit the party and its affiliated organizations. Practitioners also shared how they improved themselves in the process of clarifying the truth.

An eighty year-old gentleman shared how he arranges his time every day to do the three things well. He uses the computer as a tool to clarify the truth. But, he previously had never used a computer before. He shared his experiences in overcoming difficulties to learn how to use a computer. With his solid wish of saving people, he has convinced more than 900 people to quit the party. He said that Master always creates opportunities for us to validate the Fa. For example, he convinced a high-ranking military officer to quit the party a while ago. He was touched by the chance given by Master that he, an illiterate person, helped a high-ranking officer to choose a wonderful future.

Mr. Chen from Chiayi said that he was always short of time to read the Fa, but he knew the importance of studying the Fa, so he read the Fa very fast. But he could not calm down when reading. Later, he realized that he should memorize the Fa. Now, he has already memorized five chapters of Zhuan Falun. He feels that his body and thoughts are purified when memorizing the Fa.

Sharing experiences

One practitioner said that he doesn't know how to use computers, so he clarifies the truth to people in Mainland China on the phone. He shared a story with everyone. "Once on the phone, I talked to a person in China and tried to convince him to quit the party. I told that person that I lived in Mainland China for more than fifty years, and I know how bad the Chinese Communist Party is. I told him it won't live long. Then, that person asked me why I was convincing people to quit the party. I said that I was for the future of my fellows in China. That person said that he felt guilty, because although I am old, I am still doing good things for others, but he and many Chinese people don't care about others. He said that he would let more people know about the websites and radio stations which clarify the truth. I encouraged him to do so, and told him that if everybody would do it, then the situation in China would change."

A practitioner shared a story of clarifying the truth on the phone: "Once, when I was leaving a message for a person in Mainland China, a fellow practitioner said to me, 'Why don't your give that person your personal phone number? Each of us can be a Quitting the Party Service Center.' So, I did. That night, my cell phone rang, and I answered. It was the person from Mainland China. He told me that twenty of his co-workers wanted to quit the party, and asked me if I could talk to them one by one. So, I did, and all of them quit the party."

A practitioner said that fellow practitioners in China are in a very dangerous situation when clarifying the truth and convincing people to quit the party. Many of them have been arrested. So practitioners from Taiwan should take actions to rescue those arrested practitioners. He suggested that practitioners call the police departments in Mainland China, and help fellow practitioners to be released.

One practitioner, who usually makes phone calls to the prisons and police departments to rescue fellow practitioners, once helped a police officer to quit the party. This practitioner enlightened to the understanding that although those policemen are involved in persecuting Falun Gong, we still need to save them, let them know the truth of Falun Gong, and help them to choose a wonderful future for themselves. With such a wish of saving people, he helped many police officers in labor camps to quit the party.

Another practitioner said that since the time of saving people is very limited, he uses both computer and phone as tools to clarify the truth. "Once when I talked to a person online, that person thanked me for telling him the truth, but he said that he wouldn't quit the party. Later I told him of the CCP's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, and then he quit the party right away. He also asked if it was practitioners from Taiwan who made phone calls to him last year. I said yes. He thanked us." With phone and computer, practitioners help many Chinese people learn the truth and give them a chance to choose a good future.

One practitioner said that he had fear at the beginning. On one occasion he called a person in China. Since he was nervous and afraid, he could not read the truth-clarifying article fluently. The person he called encouraged him and asked him to practice before making the phone call. Later, he gradually got rid of the fear, and now he talks to people on the phone with confidence, and he makes a lot of phone calls to police departments and 610 Office departments.

At the conference, practitioners encouraged each other to clarify the truth and save people. Practitioners encouraged each other to constantly improve during the process of clarifying the truth, and to do the three things well.
