(Clearwisdom.net) In a small village in northeast China, there lived a man in his 50s. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, he was deceived by the evil CCP and often opposed and attacked Falun Dafa and practitioners. Dafa practitioners and his wife told him the true facts about Falun Dafa many times, but he never listened. One day, he found his wife's Dafa book, then used it as toilet paper in the bathroom. When his wife found out, he had already used over a third of the book.
Soon afterwards, he developed rectal cancer. He could hardly endure the pain and got thinner every day. Eventually he went to the provincial hospital and had part of his intestines removed. He had a colostomy and also had to undergo frequent chemotherapy. This not only created a serious financial burden for his family, but also caused unspeakable mental and physical pain.
He suffered for two years, and regular medicine could no longer ease his pain. He had to inject a painkiller every two hours to reduce the pain. One day, he wound up in critical condition. He called upon his son and asked him to prepare for his funeral. Shortly after, he passed away.
His spirit went to the hell, where it was dark and gloomy everywhere. He walked on a dangerous and muddy road, filled with silt. He staggered forward and could see no light or hope. He walked for a long time before two fireballs appeared to light the way for him. He saw people who had killed in their lifetimes in the human world in a very cold place with raging snow and ice. They had nothing to eat and nothing to wear. The people who had committed fewer wrongdoings stayed in a better environment. He also saw himself lying in a coffin with three people carrying three corners of his coffin. But one corner had no support. Suddenly the unsupported corner tipped, and the coffin dropped hard to the ground and hurt his leg. He also saw his relatives coming to his funeral, lining up to go through the rituals.
When he arrived in the netherworld he found that what Falun Gong practitioners had told him was all true. Those people who had persecuted Falun Gong were all punished. At the end, he saw his wife kneeling in front of Teacher Li's photo, asking Teacher to reduce his sins and karma and give him another opportunity. After a while, he returned to the human world. When he woke up, his legs hurt very much.
After his trip to hell, this man understood the truth. He cried his heart out when he woke up. He regretted believing in the evil CCP's lies and attacking Dafa. He regretted reporting his wife to the authorities for owning a Dafa book, which resulted in his wife's arrest, and he regretted all of his wrongdoings.
When he woke up, he told his friends and family about his experience in hell. Many people thus understood the truth of Dafa. They learned the heavenly rule that good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil.
