Ms. Xie Xiuying Arrested

At the beginning of January 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xie Xiuying, from Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province, was arrested. This was her third arrest.

Ms. Xie Xiuying is an early-retired employee of the Sanlidong Coal Mine (which is under Tongchuan City Mining Bureau), and she lives in the family housing of the Sanlidong Mine Power Supply. Ms. Xie began cultivating Falun Dafa in 1997, and her mind and body have both benefited. She kept studying the Fa and doing the exercises, and she became a well-received, kindly person in the neighborhood.

In August 2000, Ms. Xie was arrested by policemen from the Sanlidong Station and was detained for one month by the CCP Political and Security Office of the Yintai Police Department. In March 2001, she was taken to a brainwashing center for three months. The class was located in the Wangshi'ao Coal Mine in Tongchuan City.
