Some Thoughts After Using an Internet Search Engine

(Clearwisdom.net) A practitioner searched Google and other search engines with Teacher's name as the key word. The search results were filled with massive numbers of articles that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) uses to defame Teacher with false charges. Many of these articles were quoted from the propaganda websites of CCP consulates and state-run media. Most of the articles are on the top pages of the search engine. However, when the practitioner used the same search engine to search "Falun Gong," it was a completely different situation. The search results were dominated by positive information that supported Dafa, quoted from various Dafa websites.

Such a big difference made me think. When Dafa practitioners clarify the truth, we should not only clarify the truth of Dafa and how innocent Dafa practitioners are persecuted by the evil. We must also clarify to people how the evil slanders and defames Teacher, persecutes Teacher, and harms Teacher's family. In addition to writing a lot of articles to expose how the evil persecutes Dafa practitioners, we must also write a considerable number of articles to clarify the truth to restore Teacher's reputation. We must, at least, make it known that, at the human level, Teacher is the most reputable person.

When we clarify the truth, we should make sure we never forget our Teacher. When we say this, it's not just about asking for Teacher's help when we clarify the truth. In addition, as Teacher's disciples, it's our responsibility to safeguard Teacher's reputation when Teacher is virulently slandered. We all know that, in this unprecedented evil persecution, it's our Teacher who bears the most, and it's our Teacher who sacrifices the most. Although Teacher has never asked us to appeal for Him, no Dafa disciple in the universe would allow the evil to attack Teacher so recklessly and virulently in an attempt to pollute and poison the sentient beings.

Teacher said in "Touring North America to Teach the Fa" that:

"No being knows who I am. Yet without me, the cosmos wouldn't exist. The reason I have come here is to save all sentient beings amidst the Fa-rectification at a time when the colossal firmament of the cosmos is disintegrating."

Teacher created Dafa and Dafa created us. I suggest everyone to safeguard Teacher's reputation when clarifying the truth, and to do so with rationality and wisdom. When we write truth-clarification articles, especially those published on the websites, let's conform to the conventional format. For instance, by saying "Mr. Li Hongzhi," "Teacher Li Hongzhi," "Master Li Hongzhi" and so on [in our articles], we will increase the frequency of positive results if Master Li's name is used as a keyword. Some search engines sort articles according to click-through rates. When there are many positive articles with Teacher's name as a keyword and they are viewed with high frequency, those evil lies which slander Teacher will be pushed to the bottom of the list or even be pushed out of the list, and the evil's attempt to poison sentient beings will fail.

I hope we will write more articles about Teacher and to clarify truth in this aspect. These articles should be translated into many different languages, so people around the world all understand how evil the persecution is and how great our Teacher is.
