A Few Words on Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) We are Fa-rectification Period Dafa Disciples. We should do what Teacher asks us to do and truly believe in Teacher and the Fa. If Teacher tells us to do the three things well, then we should do them well.

There are times when I haven't done well on sending forth righteous thoughts. When I could feel its effectiveness, I would want to send forth righteous thoughts more; whereas, when I didn't have a strong feeling, I sent righteous thoughts less. However, one incident has changed my understanding of sending forth righteous thoughts. It happened last year when I went to visit a fellow practitioner at her home. This practitioner is a little older than me. When I arrived, it was time to send righteous thoughts, so we sat down facing each other. After about seven minutes into sending forth righteous thoughts with my palm erect, I saw very clearly with my celestial eye that sitting in front of me was not the ordinary fellow practitioner, but a Buddha; the aura around her body was 5 inches wide. My eyes were closed at the time, so I opened them - she was indeed sitting there with a Buddha's appearance.

Teacher has said,

"Actually, every Dafa disciple has abilities. It's just that the abilities do not manifest in the surface dimension, so they think that they don't have supernormal abilities. But regardless of whether they can manifest in the surface dimension or not, when a person's True Thoughts come forth they are very powerful." ("Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful"

Therefore, whether one can feel it or not, as a Dafa practitioner, one should send forth righteous thoughts well.

I also remember another incident. One day in the evening, I went to the same practitioner's home. Her home was in a mess because the police had illegally ransacked it. She was reported to the police by the local people where she had delivered truth-clarification materials. The police from that region (50 miles away) thought that her home was the source of distribution, so they traveled all that way to her home and ransacked it. Immediately before the police arrived, this practitioner felt that something unusual was going to happen, so she put away all of Teacher's books as well as any truth-clarification materials. When the police arrived, they took her to the local police station. She was very calm at the time with strong righteous thoughts and had no fear. As a result, the police were not able to get any information from her. When the police asked if she would continue to practice Dafa, she replied, "Since Falun Gong is so wonderful, of course I will continue to practice." With Teacher's protection, she was released a few hours later.

Since then, I have realized the importance of having strong righteous thoughts. I wrote about the above experiences to help those practitioners, who haven't yet seen the importance of sending forth righteous thoughts, to pay more attention to this matter. Just as Teacher has said, "Dafa disciples' righteous thoughts are powerful."

Fellow practitioners, please study the Fa frequently and well, send forth righteous thoughts, and clarify the truth, so we can all manifest our divine power and meet the requirements of a Dafa practitioner.
