Mr. Wang Hongfa, a Faculty Member of Tianhe Institute of Guandong Polytechnic Normal University, Again Sentenced to Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Hongfa, a faculty member of the Machinery Department at the Tianhe Institute of Guandong Polytechnic Normal University, was reported to the police when he clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to someone in the Computer Science Department. Afterwards, the authorities of the University said that they would no longer employ him. Also, they cooperated with the officers of the Haizhu District 610 Office and the Tainhe Street Police Station and arrested him on July 16, 2007.

The officers of the State Security Division of the Haizhu District 610 Office and the No. 1 Team of the Jiangnanzhong Street Police Station illegally searched Mr. Wang's dormitory on campus and his home in Guangzhou City. On August 10, he was sentenced to the No.3 Division of the Chini Town No. 3 Forced Labor Camp in Huadu District, Guangzhou City for one-and-a-half years.

Mr. Wang Hongfa's hometown is in Hubei Province. He was born in 1966 and received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Machinery and Mold Design at South China Technical University in Guangzhou City. After the persecution of Falun Gong was launched in 1999, Mr. Wang steadfastly stuck to his beliefs, and he was illegally detained in the Haizhu District Brainwashing Center, Guangzhou City Brainwashing Center, and the Guangzhou City No. 1 Forced Labor Camp many times. He was subjected to different kinds of brutal tortures, especially in the Forced Labor Camp. Friends and relatives are extremely worried about Mr. Wang's safety. This year, he has had little time to stay with his family. His young daughter was entrusted to his parents in Hubei Province. His wife, Ms. Deng Yi, was forced to be destitute and homeless from July 2001 to October 2005. She was detained in prison for about three years and suffered various tortures. The relatives of Mr and Mrs Wang have endured boundless pain.

The experience of Mr. Wang's family is only the tip of the iceberg. Please help to stop this persecution that should never have happened.
