Persecution Causes Wang Zhongli from Xinmin City, Liaoning Province to Suffer a Mental Collapse

(Clearwisdom.net)

Mr. Wang Zhongli is from Wudaogou Village, Haniu Town, Xinmin City, Liaoning Province. He was once an employee of the Eastern Vehicle Section of the Jinzhou Railroad Substation. In 2001, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and clarify the truth. He was arrested and sent to Beijing's Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp. He was detained and tortured there for two years. During his detention, the police did not allow him to sleep, did not give him enough food, and tortured him for two months in order to try to force him to give up his belief. His employer also threatened to fire him if he did not give up his belief. Under this tremendous suffering, he went against his conscience and said he would give up believing in Falun Gong.

After Mr. Wang was released, his employer fired him, using the excuse that he was absent from work for more than eleven days. His wife divorced him due to not being able to handle the pressure. His relatives put a lot of pressure on him, since they were deceived by the CCP's lies. Mr. Wang went back to his former employer to ask for his job back, but a security guard there gave him a beating instead. On top of all that, he was anguished about giving up the belief that had once given him a new life. Finally, Mr. Wang suffered a mental collapse.

Because of the persecution, a happy family was torn apart and a well-recognized, hard worker was detained, tortured, and shunned. Mr. Wang's legal appeal led to two years of illegal detention, which ultimately led to his complete collapse.
