Three Practitioners Detained in a Brainwashing Center for over a Year, Another Has Her Retirement Pension Cut Off and Her Son Arrested

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of June 20, 2006, Gou Dewei and other officials from the 610 Office of the Qiannan Region, Guizhou Province, arrested Ms. Liang Zhengfeng, Ms. Xiang Shiqing, and Mr. Shi Dengling. The three were taken to Liannigou Brainwashing Center because they had mailed materials about the persecution of Falun Gong to others. The practitioners refused to accept any form of "transformation."

The police have tortured them so brutally that they are all now disfigured. Their family members have been making efforts to get them released for over a year, but the police refuse to release them.

In the afternoon on June 20, 2006, the 610 Office of the Qiannan Region ordered Ms. Huang Guixian's company to trick her into going out. Ms. Huang realized it was a trap. To escape, she left her home, planning not to return. The police didn't give up trying to catch her. From 2006 to 2007, they broke into Ms. Huang's home three times. They cut the door open with a saw, then smashed the the lock. They confiscated all her valuables. Since July 2006, the police have been holding up all her retirement pension, cutting off Ms. Huang and her son's income.

Mr. Huang Lei, Ms. Huang's only son, was arrested in 2003 and sentenced to prison for five years. He is still detained in Dujun Prison in Guizhou Province, where the guards have tortured him brutally. Once they didn't allow him to sleep for 30 days. They forced him to sit on a small bench for so long that his buttocks became festered with blood and pus and his flesh stuck to his clothes. They made other detainees beat his knees with a small hammer. The torture caused him to pass out several times.
