(Clearwisdom.net) 2007 has been a very unusual year for me, because this year I read an excellent book, Zhuan Falun.

My wife is a Falun Gong practitioner. On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party started persecuting Falun Gong. At that time, when I did not understand anything about Falun Gong or Master Li, I did something improper against Dafa--I tore up all of my wife's Falun Gong books due to my extreme fear of the CCP, who's agents were arresting practitioners and confiscating Falun Gong books. I am deeply regretful for what I did.

My wife still practices Falun Gong. During these past nine years, I have witnessed the miracles that have happened to her. She used to suffer from all kinds of illnesses, including gynecological diseases, gastric conditions, gallbladder disease, hemorrhoids, renal disease, and skin problems. All of these illnesses have been cured.

While I was at home unemployed this year, out of curiosity I read Zhuan Falun three or four times without stopping. Amazingly, miracles happened to me, too. The illness from which I had suffered, which had not improved after taking medications and injections for the past 30 years, was surprisingly cured, and my neurological condition also became normal. I just could not believe that Falun Gong could be so miraculous! The illness that I never expected to recover from was cured, without even taking any medication. By only reading Zhuan Falun a couple of times, Master Li has already cleansed my body. I asked my wife accusingly, "This book is such a good book and Master Li is so miraculous. Why didn't you tell me all of this earlier?" My wife replied, "I told you a long time ago but you didn't believe me and refused to listen to me at all. You only believed what the CCP said."

I cannot feel grateful enough to Master Li. I really want to yell, "Master Li is very merciful! All predestined people should not miss the chance to read this sacred book, Zhuan Falun."

Zhuan Falun is a book that teaches people to be truthful, to do good deeds, and to be good people. Why does the CCP want to persecute Falun Gong? If you truly learn the contents of this book, you will realize that this profound book is very strong in scientific knowledge and is beneficial to the nation and all sentient beings.

All Falun Gong practitioners benefit mentally and physically from practicing Falun Gong. Because Falun Gong is so good, it spread very widely and quickly by word of mouth. Our government should have given Master Li awards in appreciation of the spiritual and material wellbeing that He brought to the people. On the contrary, the government is persecuting Falun Gong and trampling the rights that the Constitution affords all Chinese citizens.

Since I have begun to practice Falun Gong, I feel that our Master is great and merciful. I hereby would like to show my gratitude again to Master, who cleansed my body and taught me to be a good person.
