Ms. Huang Jinglan Died as a Result of Persecution in Xuyong County, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Huang Jinglan, a retired teacher from the Xuyong County First High School, was born on December 9, 1939. She used to be very weak and ill and almost died once due to her illnesses. She visited many doctors and learned many kinds of qigong, but all in vain. In the spring of 1994, Falun Dafa came to Xuyong County. Ms. Huang started practicing Falun Dafa with joy and cultivated diligently. The profound principles greatly changed Ms. Huang's heart. She started a new life according to "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Soon after starting her cultivation, her old illnesses were healed, and she became very healthy. Her whole family experienced the serenity of Falun Dafa.

After 1999, the persecution of Falun Dafa in China started, and Ms. Huang went to Beijing with four other practitioners to appeal. They were stopped by police in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. Police, State Security agents, and her employer from Xuyong County took them back and detained them for one month. Guards in the detention center and other prisoners conducted body searches, forced her to go through brainwashing sessions, extorted 5000 yuan from her, and deducted her salary and regular bonus pay.

After she was released from detention, police and state security agents forced her employer to harass her regularly, monitor her activities through phone calls, and limit her freedom by requiring her to report all her activities. Her family was very frightened by her employer's unexpected visits. Her husband had experienced many political movements in China and knew the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party, so he tried to stop her from practicing Falun Dafa to avoid being persecuted further.

Ms. Huang endured a huge amount of pressure from the CCP regime, her employer, and her husband, which damaged her mental and physical health. She became ill once again and was bedridden by the Spring of 2001. She died at the end of June 2001 at 62 years of age. Her husband developed high blood pressure in March 2001, and then Alzheimer's disease and paralysis set in. He died in September 2001.
