New York: State Senator Eric Adams Issues Proclamation Honoring New Tang Dynasty Television on the Occasion of Its Annual Holiday Wonders Show

(Clearwisdom.net) New Tang Dynasty TV's Holiday Wonders and the Chinese New Year Spectacular, performed by Divine Performing Arts, will be staged in more than sixty cities around the world this season. The global tour begins at the Beacon Theatre in New York City and the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 18, 2007.

Whereas, it is important to honor those institutions that, on a regular basis, remind us of the diversity of this country; and

Whereas, in expatriate Chinese communities worldwide, New Tang Dynasty Television has earned a reputation for excellence in entertainment, news and public affairs programming; and

Whereas, New Tang Dynasty Television has been broadcasting in North America for nearly six years, and has been sending its programs to Asia, Europe and Australia for nearly five years; and

Whereas, more than 300,000 household receive New Tang Dynasty Television in New York City, and the station is also in the Chinese communities of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago; and

Whereas, New Tang Dynasty Television is hosting its annual presentation of its Holiday Wonders show at the Beacon Theatre from December 18-26, 2007; and

Whereas, Holiday Wonders brings hundreds of dancers, vocalists, musicians and a live orchestra, all making for an unforgettable event; and

Whereas, it is hoped that New Tang Dynasty Television will continue its outstanding programs and events for years to come; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, that I, State Senator Eric Adams, congratulate New Tang Dynasty Television on its continued service to Chinese communities in New York, the United States and around the world; and be it further

Resolved, that a copy of this proclamation be transmitted to the staff of New Tang Dynasty Television.
