By a Falun Gong practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) A drop of water, however crystal clear, will easily vaporize into thin air. Only when it joins a large river will it keep running. Similarly, a Falun Gong practitioner, however capable, will do the Three Things well and save sentient beings only when he or she has melted into the Fa.

I watched a video of the lecture, Falun Dafa--Teaching the Fa to Australian Falun Dafa Practitioners. Once again Teacher ever so earnestly, kindly, and patiently taught the Fa and untied the knots in our minds. A sacred feeling arose from my heart. I felt myself basking in Teacher's enormous compassion. Tears streamed down my face uncontrollably. This was the very first time I saw Teacher's smiling face or heard Teacher's voice since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to suppress Falun Gong in 1999.

During these years since the persecution began in 1999, the Fa's requirements for Falun Gong practitioners have kept raising with the progression of the Fa-rectification. The problems among fellow practitioners in Australia are, in fact, very common among us practitioners in China as well.

We Falun Gong practitioners are one-body and we will exercise more Fa power when we work cohesively. Falun Gong practitioners in the Fa-rectification period are forged by the Fa and have magnificent power. As Fa particles, most practitioners strive to do the Three Things at their respective social stratum, careers and positions. However, we are most frequently interfered with by our attachment to self, our own understandings, our methods of doing things, our capabilities and our own reputations. We sometimes behave as though everything about ourselves is so important that fellow practitioners' understandings and capabilities should take a backseat. How could this be the original nature of Falun Gong practitioners who are forged by the Fa and are expected to attain selflessness and altruism? Isn't this the very reflection of the selfish nature of the lives from the old universe?

If we cannot bear in mind the Fa's standards, be considerate of others or stop being selfish at all times, our capabilities as Falun Gong practitioners will be restrained. The evil beings from other dimensions will create interference because they have found an excuse! Consequently, the one-body of practitioners, Falun Gong's image and the Fa's power will be compromised. This is a problem that we cannot ignore.

Problems and conflicts are bound to take place, but as long as we remember to search inward, to stop pointing fingers at each other, to avoid arguing with each other, to truly treat fellow practitioners and sentient beings with compassion without any grudge or complaint and to truly let go of selfishness, the gaps between practitioners will be eliminated. If we can create a cultivation environment in which we can trust, understand, help and share with each other, we will be able to save more sentient beings.

Seemingly not assured that practitioners would truly change their hearts, Teacher picked up the microphone again after putting it down. Apparently, Teacher was worried that, after the Fa lecture, we might repeat the same mistakes again when we returned to our respective lives, we might point fingers at each other when a conflict arises, or we might even ask non-practitioners to help solve problems among us.

Teacher appeared to be very anxious about our cultivation and expressed a hope that we would improve our understanding of the Fa as soon as possible.

Teacher cherishes every disciple, for every disciple is indispensable in the universe. Falun Gong practitioners in the Fa-rectification period have excellent capabilities. But we must understand rationally that the future lives in the universe will always put the Fa first and will be altruistic. Only by placing ourselves among the Fa and in the one-body of practitioners will we be able to fully utilize our limited capabilities.

Time is running out. Some things, once the opportunities have passed, can never be retrieved.

As great enlightened beings in the future, let's cultivate diligently and let go of the attachment to self unconditionally. Let's cooperate with each other unconditionally in all Dafa projects. Let's cherish the predestined relationships between practitioners that have come only once in an eternity. Let's cherish each minute and second to save sentient beings.
