(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Jianguo was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Tongnan County, Chongqing City. He was tortured severely at Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing in 2002. He was sent home when he was on the brink of death and forced to lead a fugitive life thereafter. He never recovered from the physical trauma and died at 1:00 a.m. on January 14, 2007.

Practitioner Mr. Peng Guorong, 68 years old, was from Xiangyin County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. He started to practice Falun Gong in 1996. He became very healthy after he started to cultivate. He often helped his son do farm work. In June 2002, he was reported to the authorities and illegally arrested by staff from the 610 Office and State Security. He had over 10,000 yuan extorted from him before he was released. In 2006, he was reported again while he was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and distributing truth-clarification materials. On September 9, his birthday, he was arrested by Pang, the secretary of the CCP Committee of Dongting Township. Pang colluded with the police from the county 610 Office and state security. His family had 7,000 yuan extorted from them for his release. Mr. Peng suffered great physical and mental trauma. He passed away on October 14, 2006.

Ms. Li Huiru was 55 years old. She was a practitioner in the Tiexi District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1996. On March 6, 2001, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. When the police came to arrest her, they beat her so badly that her fingers were broken and the beating left a big swelling on her head. Her eyes were surrounded by blue and black bruises. After she was released on medical parole in 2001, she suffered a mental collapse. She died in early September of 2005.

Ms. Gao Shuqin was 79 years old. She was a practitioner in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. In June 2006, she was reported to the police when she was clarifying truth in the vicinity of Taishan, Shahekou District, Dalian City. Police from Nansha Police Station arrested her. After she was released, she passed away from cerebral hemorrhage at the hospital on November 7, 2006.

Supplemental material about the persecution of Ms. Xiao Shufen, a practitioner from Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province:

In an attempt to transform practitioners, guards at the Women's Forced Labor Camp of Harbin City deprived Ms. Xiao of sleep and deprived her of all of her personal freedom in 2005. Unable to bear the inhumane torture, Ms. Xiao attempted to commit suicide by hanging herself. (Editor's Note: While the teachings of Falun Dafa prohibit taking the life of oneself or others, the fact that anyone could be led to attempt suicide is testament to the severity and horror of the persecution that practitioners in China face) The person in charge on the night shift noticed it during evening inspection, and Ms. Xiao survived. In March 2006, criminal inmates found out that Ms. Xiao was reading Master's articles. Five inmates attacked her and tussled with her. The inmates beat her so hard that they were exhausted and got muscle spasms in the end. Several guards tore her bedding into pieces. As a result of the torture, Ms. Xiao got ill in March 2006. Other practitioners wanted to report the situation to the guards and help Ms. Xiao to communicate with her family. However, inmate head Wu Bin kept them from doing this. When Ms. Xiao was in critical condition, practitioners went to report to the guards. The guards used the excuse that they were unable to get hold of Ms. Xiao's family and delayed treatment. Ms. Xiao died at the age of 66 in March 2006, 12 days after she had started to fall ill. Her family was not notified until three days later.
