One Person Cultivates Falun Dafa and the Whole Family Benefits

My mother cultivates Falun Dafa. Despite the rumors spread by the Chinese Communist Party to slander Falun Dafa and what people who don't know the truth about Falun Dafa told me, I saw the qualities of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" in my mother. She was kind and sincere to people. When she encountered unpleasant matters she would always think of others first and be understanding towards them. She would also self-reflect. My mother always said to me, "One person cultivates, the whole family benefits! Your support of my Dafa cultivation is also a contribution to Dafa! If you repeatedly recite 'Falun Dafa is good' when you are in a dangerous situation, Falun Dafa will protect you."

In the summer of 2006, when I was crossing the road, a car rushed towards me and knocked me down. My cellphone was flung far away. I laid on the ground. My arms and legs were bleeding. I was in great pain. I quickly, silently recited, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good!" Thereafter I was able to stand up and walk over to retrieve my phone. The phone was still intact and in good condition. The driver was so shocked that he was speechless. The spectators who had crowded around reminded the driver to help me pick up my bicycle. He then asked me, "Are you okay? Should we go to the hospital for a checkup?"

Although I was still in a bit of pain, I had learned from the example of a Falun Dafa practitioner and "did not want to trouble others." Thus I said, "I am okay! You can go!"

After the incident, I thought about it for a long time. I felt that this car accident was really miraculous. I was hit so badly, yet I was fine, and my cellphone and bicycle were not even damaged. Furthermore, the pain went away very quickly. This was actually as my mother had said, "One person cultivates Falun Dafa, the whole family benefits!" Falun Dafa is really miraculous!

I am retired. I was an official at the provincial level of the country. I am already 73 years old this year. I had a cancerous tumor growth in my lung and had undergone an operation in March 1958 to remove the cancerous lung tissue. There were side effects after the surgery. The tissue on my chest and arms grew and stuck together. I had heart disease and had urine in my blood. In 1994, it was discovered that my heart was unable to supply enough blood and oxygen to my body, I had urine in my blood, etc. It was difficult for me to go up and down stairs. I suffered from insomnia, headaches, breathlessness, and felt weak all over.

In 1994, I was fortunate to have the chance to attend a two hour-lecture given by Master in the hall of Gong'an University in Beijing City. A miracle happened. All the pain I used to suffer disappeared, and I felt very light and easy on my way home. I was not out of breath when I walked. From then on I believed deeply in Master and Dafa. I cultivated and did the exercises diligently. My health got better and better.

In the spring of 1996, I took my granddaughter to the hospital to look for her mother. My daughter-in-law was a radiologist in the hospital. She did not practice Falun Dafa. She was doing an x-ray for a patient. She also did an x-ray for me. After that she laughed and asked, "Didn't you once have an operation to remove lung tissue?" I replied, "Yes, but that was over 30 years ago." She said, "At the same place where the lung tissue was removed, new lung tissue has grown back. The area is the same size as the lung tissue that was removed. If not for the scars left by the operation, one would not have been able to tell that an operation had been performed." She even said, "Go ahead and cultivate Falun Dafa. This exercise is so good!"
