Practitioner Ms. Zhang Wenrong Is Once Again Detained in Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhang Wenrong is 62 years old. She lives in Nantuo Village, Dongli District, Tianjin City.

Ms. Zhang is a hardworking and kindhearted farmer. She is courageous and dared to tell people the truth about Falun Gong. Her ex-husband idled about and never had a job. Hence she was forced to take over the responsibility for the family. In order to raise their three children she worked in the field from morning until night and developed many illnesses. She started to have a hunchback at a young age.

In 1997, she began practicing Falun Gong and all her illnesses went away. She also found her destiny and began to understand that everything that happened to her was due to predestined relationships she had and the karma she accumulated in her previous lives. The only way to eliminate karma was to cultivate "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," the Great Law of the universe. She stopped complaining about the unfairness of life and disciplined herself strictly according to the requirement of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance ." She considered others first and raised her moral standard as well. She seemed to have become a different person.

Because she continued to uphold her belief in Falun Dafa, in early 2001, agents from the Dongli District 610 Office arrested her at her apartment. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor and detained in the Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin. She refused to renounce Falun Gong and consequently her term was extended by six additional months.

On June 10, 2006, she was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials. She was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor and once again detained in the Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp where she was compelled to perform over ten hours of hard labor every day, picking beans, pasting boxes, and making clothes, etc. She was frequently made to work for the entire night without sleep. When she was not working, she was forced to sit on a tiny stool for the whole day and was forced to read articles that slandered Falun Dafa.

We hope that Dafa practitioners in the Tianjin area send forth righteous thoughts to help Zhang Wenrong eliminate the interference and get out of the labor camp.

According to reliable sources, four more practitioners from Tianjin were also sentenced to two years of forced labor in mid September 2006. They are Ms. Zhang Enjian, Ms. Zhang Liying, Ms. Li Lanmin and Ms. Wang Lanrong. Currently, all of them are detained in the Tianjin Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp.

In early 2001, Dafa practitioners Wang Lanrong, Zhang Enjian, and Zhang Lirong were sentenced to two years, two years and one and a half years of forced labor, respectively. They were detained in Division 1 at the Banqiao Labor Camp. They were all in their fifties but were made to do hard labor for over 10 hours a day as well, including picking beans, pasting boxes, and making clothes, etc. They were also frequently forced to work for the entire night without sleep. Zhang Enjian, in particular, was forced to work with the young inmates, carrying sacks that weighted over 100 lbs onto trucks. Ms. Zhang's husband had passed away many years ago. She lived with her daughter who recently had a baby, but now that she has been taken away she can not help her daughter.
